I still can't believe Paula Abdul is judging other people's musical talent...

I heard one of the guest judges this year will be none other than Mr. Bob Marley.

    Get up, stand up
    Stand up for your rights
    Get up, stand up
    Don't worry, be happy

The formula is not too socially unacceptable apperance + loud voice = Idol material.

It's funny... All the "good" singers are just really loud... Christina Aguilera clones. Every now and then the judges have to pretend that someone doesn't sound as "good" as the others to make it look like they have discriminating tastes.

Of course, you can't be completely off key.

I think this show has jumped the shark. That was very difficult to sit through...especially when their giving us backgrounds on people who didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of making it. Not even watching all the idiots try to sing is even fun any more. Paula, Randy, and Simon...could care less about any of them or what they think.

I really wish this show would just go away forever. In fact, I wish that for all reality TV. Now that we don't even get regular shows, their just going to spoon feed us so-called reality TV until we vomit.

What's next..."The Amazing Tube Race (down the Guadalupe River)"?

    Absolutely.

Also they already filmed the Hollywood portion but due to obvious reasons she can't tell my friend (or anyone) what happened.

Watched tonights show with my mom and the second guy they showed on their from Crosby. The guy that was dancing all funny and was a groundskeeper for baseball fields used to always come into Live and Karaoke.

Him and his girlfriend were always there. They were the nicest people there. Of course they couldn't sing but everyone knew them and they always were so passionate...pretty funny to see him on American Idol.

    I can.

I can't sing a lick but I think I can tell a talented singer from a crap singer.

    Anybody still watching?

I'm surprised that Josiah didn't make the top 24. The kid has serious talent and he's very passionate.

I think Michael Johns and David Archuleta are the favorites for the guys while Syesha Mercado and Kady Malloy are the favorites for the girls.
