how can these bad singers pass through rounds of auditions? The only way is that the producers fixed it to be that way. Why do they let this many ppl get through the cracks to be on TV? For entertainment purposes. I'm sure the rounds of auditions prior to the tv round weeded out some pretty decent singers that has the potential to make it to hollywood from houston. Alot of this crap is so fixed. That thunder out of nowhere? That singer who woke up a sleeping man? So much editing and acting in reality TV shows it's ridiculous.
I just read over at the Chronicle that 13 of those who auditioned in Houston made it to the next round. I believe they only showed 3 people who made it. Where were the other 10 who made it and why were we made to sit through some of that crap? It's funny only for a while but, towards the end, it was unbearable. Yes, alot of the auditioners were not from Houston but that doesn't mean that helps Houston's perceived image any.
AAH, Just failed that Exam. I can honestly say, I only got 1 answer correct on the whole exam. and that was a true and false, So out of 64 questions I got one. Someone do the math and tell me my percentage, Im too braindead to figure it out.
Ya, they were clowning on Houston All day about that on the radio. I was about to call em and say, Hey I dont see any Richmond Idols. Then they started talking about the Superbowl tickets,,, Steve, and Yao at the ASG.... O how badly I wish I was in Houston
if the ratings on this show ever fall, they need to call in the producers of the Jerry springer show, and let the insulted applicants start beating the crap out of simon. thats when i'll start watching
If it's any consolation I just failed a Gov't exam. But tomorrow it's Chemistry. And then my lab notebook, and then it goes to literature and drafting. AND THEN it's on to AutoCAD! YYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if an outsider's opinion of my hometown is shaped in any way by the field of talent (or lack thereof) on American Idol, then I don't want them as a neighbor, anyway.
