"Daaaaddyyyy" ... hated that woman. But to bring it "full circle", Jester Hairston who played Rollie on the show "Amen" was one of the creators/arrangers of the song "Amen" sung by The Impressions and Otis Redding. I always loved Rollie.
Nah. I’m happy as long as Amen is good. I couldn’t care less who is better between the two brothers. I’m sure they care. But I don’t.
Ausar Thompson Shooting has been bad. Athleticism, Running, Dunking, Passing, Defense and Rebounding, Shot Blocking is Impressive.
"Bad" may be understating it. 43% from the field, 13% from 3, .48 TS%. Cade, Ausar, and Jalen Duren are all talented, but the fit is rough. They desperately need to find complementary 40%+ 3 point shooters if that's their young core.
No one "hates Green" .... some just don't think he's consistent enough and that he may never be. I really hope he makes me eat a big ass plate of crow for all the criticism. Does that sound like "hate"? Olynyk is in Utah not Detroit. I wish they had kept him too ....
Bruh just look at all the post on Green saying he should be cut or he will never be an average nba player. I don't even need to quote it just look around. CF is very toxic and people here love to tear our own players down, look at all the hate Jabari got last year. Now the same people who called Jabari a bust and a waste of a pick are the ones boosting him up lmao.
It's almost like taking best player available without any concern for team fit leads to really shitty basketball and longer rebuild processes.
I honestly can't remember a time a team has drafted so many lottery players who all have the same fatal flaw. Ivey: Mediocre shooter Cade: Bad shooter Ausar: Horrible shooter Duren: Non-shooter It's truly baffling.
Jalen: below avg shooter Sengun: below avg shooter Jabari: avg shooter Tari: below avg shooter Amen: horrible shooter Cam: avg shooter It's up to the coaches to help the kids develop their shooting
Huh? We’re talking about prospects. Cam and Jabari were both considered potential elite shooting prospects, so I don’t know what you’re talking about. Bari’s major weakness, as a project, was his handles, and Cam’s was his decision-making.
I thought Amen looked good tonight. Didn’t score much, but played great D, cleaned up the boards well, and kept the offense flowing.
Maybe that should have been a huge red flag ..... when Nix shot ~40%. NBA G League Stats | Daishen Nix
He was okay but he really doesn't know what he's doing out there a lot of the time, which is understandable for a rookie. It seems like Ime has zero patience for people not knowing what to do, I think that's why he only got 10 minutes. It's also why our starters keep getting benched. I don't expect Amen to get a whole lot of minutes this year(for this reason), but it should increase as the year goes on and he gets more comfortable.
The Rockets kept putting guys out for the defense - pretty much I could've defended the Spurs tonight just grab on to Juan de Obama when he's in the paint and ignore everyone else and let them shoot
