I am at the Orlando Magic game tonight - Anthony Black started and leads all scores with 17 at halftime He might not be able to jump as high and he doesn't have to do too much playmaking but he looks light years ahead of Amen at this point at least on offense.
his jumper looks so broken and busted in warmups, I think it would take a decent sized miracle for it to get to the point where it’s considered even just below average he wasn’t even shooting threes, just midrange jumpers a little beyond the free throw line…and yikes
I really liked Black in the lead up to the draft. Unfortunate that GM's seem to make so damn many consensus draft picks instead of doing their own research.
In another sense yes, I think he could be a major lock down defender, I meant in a 3 and D sort of way. Jalen is sort on his trajectory to become an All Star caliber player if he hits his ceiling.... The Magic have enough All Star caliber players, they need great role players that can shoot. We are in dire need of more Rondos in this league.
