He jumped off his right leg for that. Dusts Naz Reid, a good defender and mid-air trucked Divencenzo, another good defender for a two-handed sledgehammer. Rockets' dunk of the year as far as I'm concerned. That puts Jalen bouncing it off Cade's dome at #2.
Anybody watching Amen this year and think he should be coming off the bench is a fool. He is our best player right now and should be starting and running the offense along with Sengun and MAYBE Jalen. He doesn't have to be a pure PG, but he needs to be starting and getting 35m a night. It is obvious. Every game he is not starting is a waste of time for our progression towards a contender. Ime is a great defensive coach. If he doesn't change his offensive philosophy or hire an assistant HC that RULES the offensive, he should be fired. Only problem is who should be his replacement.
Ah yes, the guy averaging 2.1 assists to 1.9 turnovers is definitely a PG.....because you want him to be based on what you thought he was 2 years ago. Insane that you can't appreciate what he is due to simply wanting to be right.
He has not had the opportunity to be one of the initiators. It's funny that it is no problem to you about Amen, but horrendous coaching that Reed hasn't. You are a two-trick pony Jalen sucks and Reed is God.
Amen has had PLENTY of opportunity, that's the difference. Also, Amen is a good player, he's just not a PG...something you can't accept because it means you were wrong about it 2 years ago. It is what it is my guy.
Many people say Amen is not a PG (or forward). I got news for you: Neither is FVV. He just dribbles the ball a whole lot.
Amen has proven beyond a doubt he's better than Sengun now? Come on brother. Not reasonable to call people foolish for preferring to put players who can't shoot around Sengun. Not reasonable to call people foolish for not believing an offense run by Amen/Sengun and missing Green/FVV might not work. Don't become an AOF bro. This team has helped Amen as much as Amen has helped them.
I gotta say, I loved seeing Amen throw Herro to the ground. Loved seeing Sengun and Green quick to defend Amen. Udoka and Sullivan got ejected, but I wish they had gotten ejected for their straight-offensive offense. Amen's a good kid and I wondered how he would fare if someone pushed him mentally. Loved the reaction. Tough but really doesn't want to fight. More star qualities. The last team we had that I'd qualify as this tough was Metta and Yao's Rockets. Loving the aggression from this team. Refs let rough teams get away with a lot more ****. We've been on the receiving end of that a lot. Time to to be the aggressor. Team's defensive identity is solid, we just need an offensive identity now.
