Amen seems to be very controlled with his athleticism. Kinda a contrast with Green who just full head of steam on every drive

I was beyond impressed. There were a couple things he did athletically that I don’t really know I’ve seen very often if ever.

The no-look offensive rebound bounce pass was beyond belief. Just the fact that he processes that fast. No bad shots. Oh yea and he was super impactful on D.

    Im stunned.

I'm glad there's a video of this from that angle. On TV, the original angle didn't show it justice as a no-look pass under the basket. Hell, it was behind the basket. That was so nuts.

My God this dude has superstar potential. He's way better than I expected. The athleticism, elite passing and dribbling with his height. He reminds me of Penny Hardaway.

Love how obsessed he is with balling. Polar opposite from Ben Simmons in terms of his motivation level.

He looked great to start the game but was gassed in the second half. He must have been running on adrenaline.

    Pluses:
    Finishing ability
    Vision
    Height
    Good hands on defense

    Minuses:
    Surprisingly slow feet in defense
Hesitant to take the shot on offense

He has an incredible feel for the game. High IQ and elite athleticism.

Houston has a true abundance of talent right now.

Jabari's and Tari's too. I can also see him meshing well with Sengun if they both become adequate three point shooters. One helluva young core we got going now.

He’s only going to get bigger, stronger and smarter. I am very happy with our core 7 young guys.

It’s early but looks like he was best available at four. All of the talk was about him being a guy who would need to develop however he easily looks the most ready, outside of maybe Sengun, of any of our recent young rookies. Eason was pretty good also. He does a lot without the ball.

Was glad to see Jabari take over that game. That was encouraging as well!

Do not let him play. I remember last year TaeShawn came back too soon from a sprain and then was out for months.

I would have to rewatch to see what you mean by slow feet on defense. Very well could just be trying to process NBA defense. Wouldn't be worried about this because he clearly doesn't have slow feet. I was very impressed by his poise.
