Spoiler Alert. Spoiler It's aaron, a character from the comics. He leads them to the Alexandria safe zone.
Yes he is. Pretty good character. Just to recap some of the stuff that was said earlier after last week's episode. I've enjoyed the comics so much better than the show. I do continue to watch it though. What bothers me the most about the show is how they portray some of the better characters in the comic books. You can look at Andrea, Tyreese, and Abraham and get very salty on how the show has done these characters. I don't know if having characters that weren't even in the comics like Sasha and Daryl make up for it for others but it doesn't for me. Either way, don't expect this show to be non-stop killing zombies and action packed. The comics is about building up the characters and I think the directors for the show is trying to do the same thing.
I like how, even during the Zombie apocalypse, Rick takes the time to educate Daryl and tries to stop him from butchering the English language. "We aint the same" - Daryl (in the barn). Rick looks at Daryl and speaks slowly, "We are not the same."
They've been pretty lame so far, I'm really contemplating dumping this show. You could stop watching for two seasons and not miss much.
sounds believable. you mean to tell meif we were stuck in a zombie apocalypse with swoly d, you don't see him pulling this stuff?
That was pretty funny. I was like "WTF" this guy is squeaky clean and is on the cleanest camping trip or hike ever. I wonder if the group is headed with this guy to the Mall per "Dawn of the Dead"? It would be kind of funny to have a mall excursion in the show. I assume that part about them holding the barn door closed from walkers was not a dream and actually happened. But, was what happened to all the walkers outside the barn supposed to be from a storm or was it the same people who were cutting walkers in half? How could it be the storm unless a tornado struck? It was awfully convenient the squeaky clean guy shows up the next morning. And, why would a horde of walkers suddenly converge on the barn during a storm anyway? It's not like they were pumping loud music and partying. Am I missing something?
Ive been very unhappy with the last 2 episodes. Im glad Tyrese is gone, but nothing substantial happened in this episode except for Aaron in the last 30 seconds.
LOL. Some comedy moments from last night. Matador walkers. The zombies in this show are simply the lamest, weakest threats ever. You can side step them and avoid any danger. Plus, they always make a growling hum. How did Tyrese not know one was behind him last episode? LOOOL. Putty heads. We've long known that walkers have the consistency of putty. But now you can grab their hair to rip their skulls in half. Really? Fido's collar. Honest Abe b**** slapping Mullet's water bottle. Meta Rick ("We are the walking dead"). Just some good comedic moments. The house warming party of walkers. How did 30 walkers know to greet them at the barn? Did it spread on twitter? Walkers: Hey guys, we came for the party! The Walking Dead: Oh snap. Let's hold this door shut for as long as we can. They might not think we're in here! Walkers: Doesn't look like they're home. Not sure why we all gathered here in the first place but let's all go home - oh **** random trees are killing us! The Walking Dead: I think they fell for it. We can calmly sleep again. Yaaaaay.
Funny you say that because this is exactly what I told my wife as soon as that guy shows up... "Nice product placement by LL Bean"
I laugh at some of you. The Walking Dead has never been about wall to wall action...it is about character and their journey. The comic is not wall to wall action. Go rent a zombie movie is you want that. As for the zombies....the threat from them is not because they are fast or smart.....it is because of the sheer numbers of them. The don't tire and just keep coming in numbers. People need food, sleep and protection from the elements. People have to stay alert....fatigue is just another element in that makes the zombies dangerous.
Also....the guy wonders why all the zombies gather at the barn. You must not have paid attention to the series. The Dead have a horde mentality. They gather together and follow others. That is the reason they are dangerous. They mentioned and show this in the TV series, but in the comics it is hammered home. Thousand of Dead roam in huge herds like cattle.
The last 2 episodes have been..... Thankfully Better Call Saul is on tonight...and Black Sails has been pretty damn good.
I thought the horde was a dream - it was Maggie's waking up and realizing "I'm going to fight and live" moment. she's waking up, not only from the dream, but also from her "I don't want to fight anymore" mentality. Also, it was the moment when Maggie (After discussing her loss of faith) realizes that maybe there is some divine intervention after all - because the barn should have been destroyed, but was miraculously spared while everything around it was destroyed.
Aaron was too squeaky clean...interested to see who he is and what he has to offer the group. I thought that Sasha and Michonne was going to have a slap down fight.
