It seems to me that Walt doesn't care about his money anymore. He can't give it to his family regardless of what happens.
Maybe. Maybe after seeing how little Flynn gave a ****, his main motives will be revenge, and to gain some sort of redemption in the eyes of his family, money be damned. Heck, for starters, he's already left the one barrel behind anyway, it seems.
Exactly. Flynn rejected it knowing where it came from and knowing that his uncle died as a result of that money. Walt's days are numbered, and with all the heat on him and his family, the cash will no longer play a factor.
i work out of my house and usually dont watch tv whilst working, but ive had it on all day today. as other said, they hired him after badger got busted. the DEA got involved so walt offered saul 10k to represent badger and keep him from ratting. saul refused so walt and jesse kidnap him him and take him to a grave they dug in the desert to "convince" him. once out there saul figures out that one of the kidnappers is walt and offers to be their legal council.
My last set of pictures from ABQ: The Grove Cafe (a.k.a. Lydia's meeting place, although they changed it a lot since the filming) This was the Tuco meeting place- I couldn't get any closer than that: Hooligans was Saul's office Casa Tranquila- which closed down Umm, they missed a few: http://notable.ca/nationwide/yp-lif...eries-Final-With-This-Breaking-Bad-Road-Trip/ Prepare for Sunday’s Epic Series Final With This Breaking Bad Road Trip By: Notable Posted in: YP Life - Nationwide || September 27, 2013, 3:30 pm With the series finale of Breaking Bad just a few heart-pounding days away, fans of the show (i.e. everyone) have been emotionally preparing for the long-awaited conclusion to Heisenberg’s story. I think Badger has something to do with the finale. First, the foreshadowing clue, the "Nazi Zombies." Then, Walt knows his name, Brandon Mayhue. Plus, Badger knows how to pick locks (from one of the webisodes). What if Walt calls him (he can get his number from his real name?), tells him that Jessie's being held hostage and that he needs help picking a lock, says that if he (Brandon) calls the cops on Walt, Jessie will die. Maybe Badger is one that helps him- maybe not, who knows?
I thought he was blind folded on his way there, maybe I got that mixed up with another episode. But what does Walt has to gain from that? He's devasted by Hank's death, he won't smear his name now that he is dead. Even if the DEA found the tape, both Walt & Skylar will clear his name. Badger has always been injected for comic relief, I doubt very much there will be any comedic moments in the finale. However, if it does happen it would be something out of left field just like the Schwaltz in the last episode. Btw, thank you for sharing all those pics. I like your dedication.
Yeah, I said when it happened that I had a feeling that the Star Trek scene was Badger and Skinny Pete's series send-off. Looking correct.
I'm sure you're right. They tend to throw out surprises, but they're based on plausibility, so that's why I mentioned him. The one thing I got from visiting all those places the last 3 days was how much smaller they all were compared to how they appeared on TV- just shows how you can make things seem larger-than-life through the magic of TV/film. Except for Tohajiilee- that was huge. And for those who were wondering how Jack's men could have gotten to that area that quickly after Walt called them, it's about 25 minutes from the area in Albuquerque where Walt's house is and most of the other places. With a speed limit of 75 on I-40, I made it there in 20 minutes, so although it's fiction, it was pretty plausible.

When Walt has the meeting with Jack about Jesse, they show a car pulling into the compound and then it cuts to Walt sitting in a chair. It's the first time we see him since he called Todd at the end of the previous episode. No mention of blindfolds or anything. The car looks to be Walt's Chrysler. It's hard to tell from the angle, but the Nazis don't have any other vehicle that looks close.
So Walt adopts habits of others in the show. Was that phone call with Skylar the first time he said "b****"? ala Jessie?
I don't know if this was mentioned earlier, but I read that Walt ordering his whisky neat was a trait he picked up from Hank.
