On top of that, he gets Ted out of the way. Problems that would arise with Skylar's death would be how the money laundering works after her death. This is possible, and I would absolutely watch a Skylar death at the end of this half of the season.

Epic line, Jesse was ust left with a great actors face, the show is so character driven and emotional, that the characters become the "drugs" to the viewer bc
Of so much STUFF! That's all I'll say, he's brilliant and the characters create the scenes beautifully anxious, because any scene could be something that is tell-tell

Walt jumped the shark. I'm no longer buying it. Peace out. Death to Walt.

As I stated earlier, Walt already died in Crawl Space. It's all Heisenburg now.

There was a scene in the last episode where the young fumigator makes a comment to Walt and Jesse about a nanny cam and Walt simply asks for his name. What was the purpose of this scene? Was that meant as a threat from Walt?

I assumed Walt felt he was doing the fumigator a courtesy through recognition, and I assume that the fumigator will play a more prominent role in future operations.

I love how Walt threw Skylar under the bus for his own ends with Marie. Not only did it get her nosy ass out of there, it made Skylar the villain. I really don't see Walt killing Skylar. If he does, then the cops look at the suicide angle, talk to Ted, Ted (the huge p***y he is) cracks and Walt is sunk.

I think you guys are reading too much into the Scarface scene. I believe that it will only impact Skylar; she will read too much into Walt being a big-time gangsta. She crazy and annoying.

The 'flying too close to the sun' thing....very telling. Maybe it was in response to Jessie offering to cover the $120k in legacy costs? Hard to say. Walt has become a great manipulator as we saw with him turning a casual conversation into Jessie dumping his GF.

I think Walt was giving him the old godfather acknowledgement for doing a good job.

That kid (Jesse Plemons) has some acting chops; I've seen him in several movies/shows over the past few years. He's certainly not there to be a bit player. imdb link

I have a feeling that is what Walt was pondering when he recanted Victor's death.

The first three episodes are a dissappointment. Two episodes of eliminating connections to Walt; another episode of establishing a new business cycle to forget about Gus and any connections that may want revenge against Walt.

The next episode looks like a bait and switch episode: cast a line to bait us into thinking Hank has finaly caught Walt and then make it all disapear with another silly concoction of "Heisenberg never loses".

With the new season format of 8-episodes, I earnestly hope the producers are not leading us into an uneventfull season to establish something more meaninful later on. Seems they either haven't come up with a solid ending or they are milking it out until the end of next season when they can reveal a Breaking Bad movie.

There has been talk, from the major players no less, that a movie is under consideration. I take that to mean Walt lives!

I also wonder how long it's going to take before Walt tries to take out Mike's guys who are on the legacy payroll.

The writers are so damn good that it could be a big flashback to when Walt was a badass chemist and Gus was setting things up, and how their ships passed several times. As a fan, I would watch it. Couldn't be worse than the X-Files movies.

With the rumor of a Breaking Bad movie, would the producers consider not concluding the show next season, but rather do it in the movie?

So if you want to watch the ending to the sow you have to go to the theater to watch it.

Wouldn't be bad from a marketing/$$ perspective. All those who have watched the show ill definitely watch the movie and those who haven't watched the show will want to catch-up on the show (DVD etc) to watch the movie.

    Win-win.

I feel like there could somehow be a lawsuit with AMC. They pay to have the story told on their network, so to have the finale of the story told on the big screen....

How have movies like this done in the past? I would assume that the studio producers would want a film that anyone can just walk in and enjoy without having a clue about what Breaking Bad is. How do they pull off a film that's been through 5 seasons?

As a fan, if the film is a finale... I would expect it to pick up like just another episode. I just really doubt it plays out that way.
