If your order hasn't arrived by the date they quoted you in your order confirmation, you can send in a complaint to them and they'll give you a month free.
We Prime and it works. Pool maintenance stuff is so much cheaper on Amazon than the pool store in my town. Within 2-3 days at my front door. It pays for itself fairly quickly in my experience.
That's pretty big news. Puts pressure on Netflix which is good. Doesn't make much a difference to me since I have HBO, Amazon Prime, and Netflix already.
It's good news for me. I'll rewatch The Sopranos and can finally watch The Wire. I'll probably start Boardwalk Empire too.
Don't mind the prices going up. Prime is awesome and on a monthly basis, it's still cheaper than Netflix. ($9.99 Netflix vs. $8.25 Amazon Prime)
The date on my order confirmation is constantly later than the date given when I actually place the order. Had no problems for 2 years, but now it is regularly taking longer.
amazon is a f'n pain in the ass when it comes to shipping……too many damn mistakes with what seems like roughly 1 in every 4 orders with them…..how hard is it to put stuff in a box and hand it over to fedex??
Good find! I'll watch Oz anytime. On a side note, in regards to Amazon, don't forget that if you purchase an item, and the price drops within 7 days, you can request to be refunded the difference. An easy way to track it is CamelCamelCamel. Just put the item you purchased on there, and you can have it contact you when the price drops below an amount you specify. I was able to get a $7 refund for one Blu-ray and a $.09 refund for another (they pissed me off massively when I was trying to get the $7 refund, so just to be an ass, I requested a whopping $.09 refund on something else).
I'm cancelling Prime. It used to ship and deliver on time until about 6 years ago. I seldom order online anymore, but when I do, Amazon doesn't have the item in their warehouse since the product's distribution is very limited. Now that Texas collects sales tax, it's more convenient and faster to buy in store where you can examine the product before purchase. Finally, I prefer Netflix over Amazon Video.
Odd.. I have ordered many books, kitchen utensils and electronics from them over 10+ years and only had 1 issue with shipping that I can recall. I find their service outstanding
Just to repeat - no Game of Thrones or recent content. The agreement is only for "old" HBO content going back more than three years.
