The majority of that is muscle, no question. Don't be fooled. The dude is an athlete and AB is incredibly small.
never knew being 6 feet tall and weighing 205 was considered being fat. rampage jackson has the same identical measurements kyle lowry has, and rampage jackson is far from being a ******.
Yet he can race down the court fairly well.... Ball players just dont like to lift, so the overwhelming majority are thin and lanky and anything other than that is seen as unusual, but athletic-wise there's nothing bad about being 6'0 and 205 if you're lifting. What I was really getting at though was the large difference was also due to Brooks being so thin, not just what appears to be an overweight lowry.
Neither dude is 6 feet. Brooks is about 5'9". And Lowry is about 5'10". Lowry needs to lose about 15 lbs. And Brooks probably shouldn't gain any weight or it will hinder his quickness.
There's no way Lowry could move the way he does on court if he were fat or out of shape. He only needs to shed pounds if the doctors determine his added muscle weight were putting too much pressure on his knees or something.
A little bit of stamina and less jarring on his bones and joints when he crashes to the floor. He needs to drop about 15 lbs. That's all.
LOL Lowry is built almost like an NFL running back (if he wanted to be a beastly 220-230 I'm sure he could). Brooks, on the other hand, has the type of body that would never make it in the the NFL.
I dont think stamina has ever been an issue with him. He's been able to play the minutes issued to him with the exception on back to back when Adelman decided to overplay players, but that affected them all. I don't see a benefit here for him. The important thing is to be built to take such hits and Lowry is. I think losing weight will only satisfy fans for aesthetic reasons. I'm not sure it improves his game as he's actually become a better player now than ever before. Experience has a lot to do with it, but his weight doesn't seem to hold him back.
I don't think he's fat at all. He has a husky build but take a look at his arms. They are pretty damn big and muscle of course weighs more than fat. He is a strong PG for his size and can take the hits when getting to the basket.
Kyle is fat, no doubt. But it's not a big deal; it doesn't effect his game and he's still in good shape. Guys like him...Carmelo...Paul Pierce....they're just rollie pollies by nature, but still good basketball players. Kyle's junk in the trunk actually probably helps him out when he falls hard on his ass.
lol, have you met them?? ive met them both.. neither are as short as you say they are. I kno my exact height is 6ft and both of these guys are almost the exact same height as me..
Think Lowry is just stockier in build. No way he is fat though. He ain't no Glen Davis... And a more graceful photo...
