this guy is amazing....he jumped over a convertible and dunked in one of those videos...i'm sure he could dunk over a 7 footer too if the 7 footer just stood there
he doesnt seem to land very well, always ends up falling or stumbling for a fews steps but has an amazing hang time

Ok...Vince's dunk on Weiss was basically just a posterization...a VERY sick one, but a posterization nonetheless. Carter's crotch ran into Weiss' head, stopping almost all of his momentum. Weiss bent down a bit (a natural reaction), allowing what was left of Vince's momentum to pass over him. Then, Vince utilized his 6'7" frame to reach over as far as he could and put the ball into the hoop. It was damn impressive yes, but some of you are making it seem like Vince Carter actually leaped 7 feet into the air clear over Frederick Weiss' head and powered the ball through the hoop. Yeah right... Consider the fact that this kid in the video is 5'10" and jumped over a CAR....from the FREE THROW LINE. I think it's clear who has more hang time. He's obviously not capable of making it look as smooth and graceful as Carter does, but his dunks are much more impressive to me.
This kid has mad hops and crzy style, but he ain't no Vince Carter... yet. That slam nation video is nice ~ so I guess he's French (Algerian)?
Yeah, when I was looking at the vids I was thinking that if the goals in some of them were really ten feet then that guy looked to be taller than 5'10"
he's 5'11" I'm not into one foot jumpers check out the dunkalicious brothers. both around 5'11" - nice hops
OK but some of those goals don't look 10 feet to me. If they were it would take a 5'10'' or 5'11'' guy a lot longer to come down to the ground than he did on some of those.
Exactly what I was thinking. I lowered my goal at my house and got a good camera angle and took some shots of my friend dunking on it. He posted the shots on blackplanet and myspace and nobody has said anything about the goal being short but they have complimented the dunks.
