Question. I've asked this hundreds of times on this message board with no answer.

What would be different in the Middle Stern/Muslim extremism predicament if Obama explcitly stated 'Islamic Extremism '?

Were like DEVGRU and CIA operators like "oh broseph, our president isn't saying the world 'islamic'... Who do I reconossense and target".

Some would feel better in the inside. That's what really matter. Personal feelings.

As VP Pence recently said... I've often said there's nothing better for the inside of a man than the POTUS explicitly saying "Islamic Extremism"

EDIT: realized that this probably came off as a joke. I was not joking. People felt the need to have their anger directed at the right group, and calling it what they think it is, is doing that.

He did on several occasions. The conservative narrative is only about Obama's public statements and decidedly not about his internal policies. The FBI/CIA under Obama did not ignore Islamic extremists. To concentrate only on Obama's public statements is superficial and dumb. And that is why the Conservatives Hannity embraced it it :p

It's very simple concepts that require no extensive brain capacity that really confuses me. Like they just can't comprehend that groups like ISIS WANT the US to explicitly state they are at war with Islam? That is an actual goal of there's. Why do these people just refuse to accept these very simple and basic premises?

It isn't intelligence. I consider posters like ATW above average in intelligence but they just don't understand this premise. Do they honestly think that Obama not explicitly stating 'Islamic' to the public has ANY bearing in the fight against Islamic terrorism?

feeling and intelligence doesn't always mesh; and if it's feeling of anger or hate, it's usually make one less intelligent or rational

the speech was so un-Trump-like; it was scripted to be political correct and obsequious, not to upset the Saudis.

In following the script, Trump came across being constrained by a strait-jacket,
scared shi tless of mentioning the 9/11 attack.

The Congressional investigative commission had concluded that Saudi officials were involved,
facilitating / expediting the 9/11 attackers (non-English speakers) to settle in America,
mos before the attack. they rented apartments for the attackers, as well as enrolling them in flight school. Saudi Gov't's response has been that "no senior Saudi officials" were involved, the implication is
that low-ranking and middle management could have been aiding and abetting the attackers

Trump's long-time confidante / advisor, Roger Stone, tweeted that
after watching the Trump/Saudi episode, he wanted to puke

Citizen Trump was right about the Saudis; President Trump, not so much.

    Citizen Trump
Saudi Arabia is the world's biggest funder of terrorism. Saudi Arabia funnels our petrodollars, our very own money,to fund the terrorists that seek to destroy our people.”
    President Trump
made it his very first foreign destination, rode in a golf cart with King Salman, did a traditional sword dance and speechified about America’s great friendship with “the Magnificent Kingdom.”

    what changed Trump’s mind?
Apparently, $110 billion. That’s how much the Saudis announced Saturday that they’ll spend to buy advanced American weaponry — one of the biggest arms deals in history.

This weapons deal, the president said, is all about U.S. jobs. Yet how many Americans want to work to arm the country that, as Citizen Trump said, “blew up the World Trade Center”?

The main force behind the weekend’s arms deal is King Salman’s son, Mohammed bin Salman. This young prince is leading Saudi’s war in Yemen, where Saudi attacks on civilians have been flagrant enough to make the United Nations warn of war crimes. In January, Trump joined the Saudis by ordering a failed raid in which a Navy SEAL and 30 Yemini civilians were killed. By giving the young prince this huge arms deal, Trump is doubling-down on U.S. complicity in another disastrous foreign war.

Citizen Trump once accused a Saudi prince of wanting to “control U.S. politicians with daddy’s money.” A critic might say the same about what Prince Mohammed wants to do to President Trump.
Except that the money that lets Saudi Arabia control the POTUS comes from us,
when we pointlessly pay for Saudi oil at the pump.

The problem is Mr Trump is heterosexual and married to a super hot woman, however; your community organizer is homosexual and married to an incredibly ugly dude.

Community organizer, Harvard Constitutional law professor... All the same thing.

Trump is great at nutting out of a 300 million dollar penis. That takes some skill... I think.
