It would be kinda unreal and crazy if the Lakers stole another great player.

Not to burst anyone's bubble but if he goes anywhere he's going to the Warriors. That package of Beidrins, Brendan Wright, Stephen Curry is the best thing anyone has put on the table and all of those guys fit perfectly into Phoenix's system. Uless they want pure cap relief in the form of T-mac's contract we're pretty much out of the running.

 

The Warriors will not give up Curry, they said they imagine him to be a warrior for 10-12 years.

 

Twitter is about as credible as hoops world these days...

 

Is this some kind of sick joke? If this is true the winner of next years All Star game plays the Lakers.

How do people not get this joke...Amare was in trade rumors all day yesterday so he just posted that on his twitter page to be funny...He only said Lakers bc they just won the championship and it would be the most ridiculous team for him to go to...Amare is just making fun of all the rumors

 

Imagine if this were real. That would be insane.

 

What makes it such a far fetched joke? I'm still waiting for someone to deliver the punch line to that Gasol for Kwame Brown trade. Nothing is out of the realm of possibility. Not sure why the "Ball don't lie" blog says it's a joke with no other proof or verification.

What IS laughable is that there are people that would have a heart attack and/or a seizure if Amare went to the Lakers because "it's another All Star for them", "it's not right", etc. It was almost the end of the world for some.

BUT when there were rumors about Amare ending up here for a package that includes Aaron Brooks, people were like "No way I'm willing to give up Brooks!"

 

Seemed like nothing more than an amusing joke. What makes it so unclassy?

Immature joke, since he's never had a repuation as a jokester type. Its easy to see why he'd do that. He's heard his name in multiple trade talks over the years and just said hell with it, I might as well throw some stuff out there for my own amusement since its ME its involving anyway. Who can fault him for that?
