If they get LeBron, 50+ wins.

Lebron won't go to NY just because Amar'e signs there, he would basically be right back in the same position he was in Cleveland with less talent around him.

If that was true the LeBron network (ESPN) would be all over this story by now.

You mean that significant jump of 0.3% in posterization of the other team in his 2nd year, before Nash came. It wasn't until Nash came, they his offense made a huge leap.

    Amare career path
    FG%
    1st 47.2%
    2nd 47.5% (+0.3% negligible improvement. LOL)
    3rd 55.9%(Nash came, +8.4% improvement)

You could say that FG% is not as good an indicator as TS%, because of free throws not being counted. Here are his TS% numbers.

    TS%
    1st 53.0%
    2nd 53.6%(+0.6% negligible improvement)
    3rd 61.7%(Nash came, +8.1% improvement)

But, he can only sign for the 5-year max, missing out an additional $30 million. Not to mention the NY state tax, which I read was nearly 13% annually... Why would he do that when Houston can get him his 6th year of max money in a SnT, no state income tax, and a global market?!? Makes no sense...

I apologize. I initially report his twitter post, but later discovered that account was fake.

Here's the real Hochman twitter page.

LMAO do some analysis. When Amare missed the entire season due to his knee the Suns almost reached the finals. Before Nash came there though what were the Suns?

Amare is just as overrated as JJ. People just look all these pretty slams he makes and forgets he has zero post moves, and without Nash there to create for him and feed him the ball all he can resort to is his jumper.

3rd year is when a rookie makes his jump. nash helps, but please, amare can play without nash.

if you watch the suns this year, there are long periods of time where they play off of amare rather than nash (b/c he's older).

amare will be fine wherever he goes. his weaknesses are his rebounding and consistent defend. offense is NOT and will never be his problem.

Who is Kberg I am trying to follow all reporters this free agency. Well IMO that is great news I don't want Knicks to get anyone. This is what one Suns reporter said.

    Gambo620

I do not expect a sign and trade to happen for Amare. I also believe that he has a max contract offer on table from Knicks right now.

The Paul option would actually be not a bad save by the Knicks, even if it meant taking on okafor, combined with amare that get them into the playoffs in the east, but gotta wonder what the hornets would want in return

The Knicks have absolutely nothing to offer NO for Paul. No draft picks. No players. Nothing.
