Have no fear, Morey'll steer clear. I love supporting the Rockets because the front office is smart and capable. Morey rejected Amare once already when Amare was an "ok" away from being traded to the Rockets. He won't even consider Amare now, especially since he was proven right once already.
Amare is a PF/C, where Oden is a pure center. I mean, of course Amare > Oden. Oden's knees make T-Mac's back/knees look like Grant Hill's. In terms of potential & what could have been, I don't think so. Oden is a beast. Man amongst boys. If he never had been plagued by injuries, he'd be a top 3 Center. Shame.
I'd rather have Cousins, who apparently got into it with the coach in last night's game. They sat Cousins out for the 2nd half. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=400278108
See, I think threads like these should be automatic warnings, followed by some sort of "fine" by Clutchfans. Consider it like the league's flopping policy. I walked into this thread thinking there was something newsworthy, and then I was disappointed by the OP. I guess high schools are on Christmas break....
Let's please watch TJ and DMo grow instead of watching another star decline. Cousins might be a prospect, if he can just think-- I really don't know: can he think?
No team is going to take on Amare and his contract. I can't wait for the Knicks to start playing him and for them to start losing again.
Nothing is for free. Amare has a contract worth almost 20 mil a year and we would certainly have to give up either Asik or Lin just to make the trade work. On top of that we would lose all cap space and flexibility. No thanks.
