Shaq did ok with Kobe, statwise. On the court, they won 3 rings together despite the fact that they hate each other. Funny how much people want to bash Kobe, but he has 3 more rings than the guys on this board idolize, Yao and T-Mac.
A lot of people just don't like the guy. His personality, the team he plays for, his playing style etc. It doesn't have anything to do with how good the guy is as a player.
Amare with Kobe that is scary. Throw in Phil Jackson, Kwame Brown and Andrew Bynum who are young players with potienal and you might be talking about a team that could string off multiple NBA titles. I hope Amare stays with the Suns.
Lebron and Amare is more interesting. Just trade Gooden, Hughes, and anyone else that'll equal Amare's max amount. You have those YOUNG guys together for x amount of years you'd be set.
That would actually be kinda funny to see the Lakers wine and dine him. Have all the Fakers fans going all crazy about getting him and just bash everyone about it. But at the end Amare screws them over and signs back with the Suns. Phil is left wondering "Why doesn't anyone want to be a Laker?" "Kobe goes down like a Pippen to never won a ring without Jordan. The world is then back in order.
