A season is a fluke because the next two seasons, he averaged 1.1 blocks and 1.0 blocks, and previous to that season, he never averaged over 1.6 blocks, and he averages 1.4 for his career. That's why it's a fluke.

Your video clearly shows that you don't really understand what bad defense is, in your video Bargnani was beat on the back cut and Bosh was trying to help and got dunked on, this is not really Bosh's fault. But Kwame sealing Amare right under the basket can't be blamed on anyone except Amare, Kwame spinning right around Amare can't be blamed on anyone except Amare, etc.

Amare was on Shaq's team last year, how would you know if Shaq couldn't score 45 points on him last year? Bosh wasn't guarding Shaq anyway, and Amare wouldn't be guarding Shaq either; the Suns have Channing Frye and Robin Lopez to play center.

He wasn't even Bosh's man, Bargs let him put to the basket...

Yeah I would blame someone else too, If I were a Bosh fan.

Sorry, but in your video I didn't see too much lazy defense. I saw Amare get over aggressive and Kobe setting him up a couple times. Plus, It's one game. Amare is the better defender than Bosh, blocks more shots, doesn't get out muscled by PGs either. I mean seriously, ANYBODY in the NBA can out-muscle Bosh. He's that damn soft.

This poll is a joke right? especially the first guys post?

And then someone says they would rather Amare because he "has a jumpshot"??

(yes - Amare has a jumpshot - but Bosh has range out to 3pt land....)

Perhaps watch the 2 play before making an assessment!

Amare is explosive around the hoop, has tremendous touch from 15' in and is an outstanding offensive combination with Steve Nash (previously Stephon Marbury)
But you cannot attribute his success solely to the PG - Stoudemire makes their job easier by making good cuts and finding the right spots on the floor.
But Amare vanishes at the defensive end, and is only a moderate rebounder.

Bosh plays a different offensive game, and generates his own shots a lot of the time. However he is just as good a scorer, has a voracious appetite for the rebound, and plays more defense (I'm not saying Bosh is an elite defender, but he works harder at this aspect of his game).

As the poll results indicate, this is a "no-contest", clearly Bosh is a better player.

Amare has always been overrated. I'd take Bosh over him any day.

You've said it in every post. We all know you LOVE amare and DISLIKE Bosh....

With that said, your arguments have been completely biased and therefore remain as your OPINION. Judging by the overall responses of this poll, there clearly seems to be a one sided adoption for BOSH.

Your opinions cannot convince others to change their opinions based on your biased arguments.

BTW, Bosh is the better player

ur having a hard time comprehending that STEVE NASH- a back to back MVP- is on his team, if Nash played for Toronto they would be a eastern conference powerhouse.. watch the all star game, Amare gets killed consistently by Dwight Howard, like I said earlier theres a reason Bosh played more significant minutes over Dwight Howard in the Olympics last year

Amare and Bosh are averaging 1.0 rbs/game.
    Bosh 45 blocks > Amare 42 blocks.

It's even. Bosh plays better defense, though.

I've seen too many Raptor games, how some of you think Bosh plays better defense than amare is beyond me......you peeps either havn't seen enough games or are just giving him credit based on his olympics performance, which isn't saying much since the competition wasn't great. Bosh and Amare are both average at best on defense.......

It's mostly because Amare's defense is Eddy Curry level, as in god-awful. I find it hard to believe Bosh can play worse defense than Amare. I don't watch much Raptors enough but I do watch the Suns and Amare's defense is flat out putrid. I think Bosh wins this defense comparison by default, to be honest.

You should check out the Phoenix games. Amare is really really bad. He is the most foul prone player in the league. He's always a second too late and lazy on defense. After he picks up his 2nd foul, the Suns are forced to use Channing Frye to guard the best front court player or watch as Amare gives the other team a free pass.

I havn't seen too many Suns games so I guess I can't really judge Amare for his defense, I only said what I did because CB4 can also play some dreadful defense as well, with the quickness he has its sad watching guys run past him on defense, or make the smallest move to throw him off. Bargnani being a better one-on-one defender than Bosh says a lot about what level of defense he plays.........

Didn't know he was this bad........I always thought it was the Suns style of play that dictated his dedication to defense.......

From the Raptors games I've watched, Bosh at least tries to play defense and challenges shots. He's also a good rebounder at 11 per game. Amare on the other hand seems lazy.

I too voted for Bosh and think this guy consistently riding Amare's nuts is odd, but I think people overestimate Bosh's range and underestimate, if you will, Amare's jumpshot. It's true, Bosh can hit some 3's, but doesn't and shouldn't take many. Form 15 feet and in, which is where they both play, they are really equally dangerous. Check out nba.com/hotspots

Again, though, I prefer Bosh. I think he is the slightly better 1 on 1 offensive player, the slightly better defender (and on both of those, we're talking just by a hair), but the clearly better rebounder.
