Amare has already gotten hurt twice during practice. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/articles/2008/10/02/20081002spt-amareeye.html
ESPN says that he may have to wear goggles the rest of his career. He will look more like superman now than dwight howard.
its hillarious you guys keep wishing bad luck on this guy and our center is the one who keeps getting hurt. you would think you guys would learn to stop mucking with the Karma. please, for all our sakes
I don't wish injusry on anyone. Still, it couldn't happen to a douchier guy.* *Unless it happened to Kobe or anyone who plays for Dallas or Utah.
What does this do to his fantasy value? I have my Yahoo draft in less than 2 weeks, and Stoudemire is the top ranked big man, expected to go between 3-8th in the first round. I've always been wary of him in the past because of the knee, but if I'm picking 7-10th and he's still on the board - then ???
I wonder if Stoudemire's LASIK surgery a few years back made his eye more susceptible to injury. I recall reading that one of the drawbacks to the procedure was that your eyes were more at risk to be injured if poked or scratched because the flaps that are cut into the cornea never fully heal.
