Allen Iverson has been winning his entire career, He and Larry Brown were quite the combo. If AI's play does not correlate to winning, than what do
Yao and Tracys play correlate to?

He wastes so many possessions, can't be coached to play in a system and relies on being "on fire" to win games down the stretch. He's a loser.

Amare is a complete defensive liability and needs the ball in his hands to be effective on offense. If we still played in the isolation era, I would rank these players higher. He has the offensive versatility to be dominant but lacks the basketball IQ (same with Iverson).

Tracy has been a winner in the past with poor teams and lacking killer instinct on the level of a Kobe. Right now, he's so crippled he just holds this team back even when his stat line looks decent. It's pretty obvious.

Yao is a winner, although it's going to take him more time to maximize his efficiency in Adelman's system. It was so basic with JVG, that's why we saw him dominating in JVG's last couple of years.

I would say that there is no chance, but who knows what's going on in Kerr's head. And Morey is very good at what he does, so I don't think it's quite so impossible.

But even though I don't think it will happen, I am hoping for at least a semi-splash. It would be nice to shake up this roster a little bit, especially at pg.

This team needs a shake up. I don't care if it doesn't work, but Amare is an All-Star. I'll give away Scola or Landry.

One thing I haven't been able to understand is what exactly has changed since last year. He averaged 30 a game after the Shaq trade but has fallen to 20 this year and can't coexist with Shaq? Doesn't add up.

Yao with Amare would either be a complete and utter disaster or frighteningly good. I'm leaning toward the former. Still, I would deal for him in a heartbeat because I love the future flexibility such a move would give us.

I no Artest has been a disappoint to you guys but not for me 15.8 points off the bench and being injured most of the year is pretty darn good. I would see if we could offer Battier,Scola hate to move him, Wafer hate to move him, Chuck Hayes. Line up Amare, TMac, Artest, Yao, Skip would be the only weak link however they would have to buy into it only being one basketball no team would be able to match up with that.

Who cares about adding to this offense really? Didn't anyone see the Grizzlies drop 60 first half points on the Rockets? I think we need a PG or someone who upgrades our defense moreso than Amare would at PF. Interesting rumor though.

Look at his overall winning percentage for every team he has been on...

    Fact- WCF.
Fact- Winning records on SEVERAL teams.

(And a fantastic passer for a shooting guard)Just because he does not fit in detroit does not make him a "loser" when he has been a winner for his
    entire career...

I don't know about some of you, you guys just don't think. On paper Amare is great, but chemistry wise and play style wise, not to mention the injury bug,

How the hell would we be able to play Yao and Amare at the same time? NO, some of you just plain not thinking about benching one or the other. The whole point of acquiring Amare is have him play together with Yao.

Yao is like Shaq, half court offense works the best. Amare needs to be in motion. another thing, do you see nash in our team?

chemistry? Yao is our franchise and number 1 go to guy. if you think Tmac is having a hard time with Yao getting touches, think again with amare.

injury bug? amare is young but his game has changed. with one wrong twisted he can be out the whole season.

I am not given up on Artest yet, as I don;t think he was the issue. Let wait for the whole team to be healthy and get some games under the belt then we will see.

IF the Rockets make the move the Suns will want Ron and Landry, then the Rockets can go after a pg if possible.

I don't think Rockets are going to this trade because they would have to give at least one of the best three players and that's likely not TMac or Yao.

Artest has the best chances but I think Morey wouldn't do it simply because Artest gave some boost to this team and is condifent that he will perform in the playoffs.

Suns will not give up Amare for a role player and bunch of cash.

There's a rumor that Suns will trade Shaq to Lakers for Odom, Walton.

Odom is an exp. contract and that trade sounds more sense since LA lost big man and etc.

    Stoudemire to Rockets, not likely.

As soon as shaq went there last yr, he was dropping 30 a game. So its not like he can't play with Yao. He's not everything the rox need, but go watch him torch the spurs and think about who will be guarding that guy on the other team. Think about the pick and roll and pick and pop. Think about the transition game and the attacking, foul drawing he does. Scola is cool, landry is cool, but neither are as good as amare plus he's 27.
