Steve's 1st two seasons of 2 and 3 assists per game was also caused by not playing with Amare.

Of course Jamison and Walker have nothing to do with it!

He has averaged 7.7 assists over his past 4 seasons. He is averaging 11.6 this year. I guess the 3.9 apg jump so far this year is just a coincidence.

You're kind of proving my point. Dirk had to share the ball with Jamison, Walker, and Nash and his ppg dropped significantly. Amare has had to share the ball with Marion, Johnson, Q, and Nash this season and he's still scoring close to 30 a game.

yes absolutely no doubt he should be league MVP so far if we forget about wade, kg, lebron, dirk, duncan, and a few others

More like caused by being stuck on the suns bench! You can't take Nash's career assist avg like that...take the avg of him being a starter.

With the way amare is playing, i will not be surprised if the suns win more than 50 games this season and make a serious run for the league mvp. He may not be as finesse as kg or as fundamentally sound as TD or as a dead eye shooter as a dirk but he sure is a heckuva player. When u r leading the league in scoring becoz of dunks, power moves and fast break finishes, it tell something about ur game. Right now, its Lebron vs Amare for the league MVP.
