Amare a 'top 20 player'???

    I certainly hope so. For someone who is 22, Yao sure tires out easily. I hate to think what he will be like when he is 32. :(

    He's a rookie. Rookie's aren't used to the rigors of the NBA. His stamina will improve...well, maybe if he doesn't have to play straight through the summer for the years to come.

    I read he hasn't had a rest for 7 straight years (since he was 15). can't remember where I read it, but I did.

    I didn't think it was that insane, but maybe it is. At that rate, he'll be forced to retire by 25. Ugh. Is the kid going to get rest this summer?

    If you count training, then yes Yao probably really didn't have a lengthy rest since he's drafted to the youth team. Chinese's philosophy is to train as much as possible day in day out and prepare a tournament for months.

    And Yao needs to play Asian Championship this summer.
