I have followed the story. The prosecutor is under investigation for obstruction of justice and was allowed to be a part of this trial. The knife they found can't be placed at the scene of the crime and doesn't match the imprint of the knife on the sheet in the bedroom. The bra clasp with the boyfriend's DNA was sitting on the floor of the room for six months, uncollected, and then was passed around a room full of people before it was collected as evidence. The only witness couldn't have possibly heard what she said she heard because they tried to duplicate what she said she heard and they couldn't do it. The whole trial was full of holes.
What I want to know is...how does drugs, a sex-game, strangulation (I'm grouping those things together) fit in at all with a KNIFE. I mean, where the heck does a knife come in...even in weird sex games!? Like someone said, Italy isn't the U.S., you have to obey their laws when over there. I personally think she's guilty...of something. Either murder or being completely stupid. I mean, she may not be the one that stabbed her, but she's gotta be some kind of evil to be the mastermind of the whole thing. I mean, somebody's DEAD. It's insane... This should be a lesson to everyone. When drugs and sex are involved, leave the knives out of it...
it could have been used as a prop, i.e. like role playing rape game. Or maybe they accidently strangled her to death and then stabbed her to make it look like a breakin...i don't know. It's a weird story and those are some freaky ass people
When the murder weapon has your finger prints on it and you lied to investigators on the night of the investigation? It's pretty bad. Maybe she was chopping salad with it and it got used in the killing? Then where are the other's DNA on the handle? Why did she lie about the other girl's location? To protect her BF? At the very least, she was clearly an accomplice if not in fact the murderer. 26 years ain't bad. I hate how everyone just defends her because she is pretty.
She ain't pretty to me...in fact, she looks like the devil himself. She's got an eeeeeeeevil look to her, just looking at her.
She should go to jail for being dumb... she was in the house at the time of the murder, but she covered her ears so she wouldnt hear the screaming?
That's what I said earlier...some people should just go to jail for being stupid... sex + drugs + knife = death There's some math for ya...
If you are a bad enough person to slit someone's throat, would you really care about ruining others? Just from the top of my head (and there is more): - Her DNA (and nobody else's) on the handle of the knife, the victim's blood on the blade - She and her Italian bf tried to fake a burglary after the murder - She lied to prosecutors and initially tried to put the blame on a (black) bar man who turned out to definitely not be involved in the case at all - why would you do that if you are not covering up your personal guilt - She changed her story about the night several times - Not conclusive, but indicative: Her behavior was erratic all the time during questioning and trial - she would do cartwheels in breaks when the police was questioning her and from what I have seen, she seemed to be completely non-sympathetic to the victim and only concerned about herself during the trial, often sporting a dismissive smile
Yeah but apparently the DNA was inconclusive/ it was also a knife that was from the apt that she shared with the murder victim, so that makes link even weaker. Your other points also do not indicate that she is guilty of murder. I do agree with you that she was in some way involved/probably is the murderer. However, the evidence provided in the trial is nowhere near enough to convict her of murder.
Not everyone chops their lines with a credit card or razor blade, ya know. I can totally see why a knife might be around.
LOL. Damn, when I read about statements like these I want to get a gun, start running around and personally shoot every single laywer I see. Of course under the law you have to make sure the defendant is guilty beyond reasonable doubt, it would be extremely tragic if the defendant was innocent all along but gets jailed. However, what happens when you can't prove the defendant is guilty beyond reasonable doubt? IMHO that's when you need to use common sense. Let's break it down: *Amanda Knox wasn't exactly a model/morally upright citizen (drug user, sexually promiscuous etc.) *She changed her story on the night of the murder several times *She tried to frame a black dude ^Disregarding whatever evidence may or may not be there, why would Amanda Knox try to frame the crime on someone else? If she is indeed innocent of all wrongdoing, why would she pin it on a completely innocent person? Obviously she is involved with the killing, she may not be the murderer, but she was most probably an accomplice. In that case, why does it matter whether it was proved that she was the killer or not? Both her boyfriend and her are getting time for the victim's murder, arguing whether she was really the one who stabbed the victim or not is just semantics IMHO. In the bigger scheme of things, it doesn't really matter IMHO.
I'm glad she is free as the evidence didn't add up and the theory the prosecution came up with of demonizing her based on some drug crazed (mar1juana? give me a break) sex murder conspiracy was extremely far-fetched and wholy circumstantial sounding more like the plot of a "Basic Instinct 3" movie. The DNA evidence was highly suspect and unreliable as well.
Kind of bothers me that she will now probably make a lot of money from this. I feel sorry for the victim's family.
Saw this tweet earlier- "I guess it is safe to assume Knox and Casey Anthony get an apartment together?"
If she's innocent, I hope she will make a lot of money. How much money does a innocent person who wrongly spent years in prison deserve to make?
