Absolutely! So gender and sexuality aren't necessarily linked. This is part of why I didn't realize I was trans, because I'm attracted to women. Some people claim that they've become bisexual or start being attracted to different people because of hormones, but I don't think that's scientifically accurate. I do know that for me at least I've become more open minded towards dating/having sex with people I otherwise wouldn't; such as women with short hair or even people with physical disabilities. I'd say transitioning is both, I definitely would not want to still be seen as a man. I still have my beard right now and am kind of incognito. My beard is also a "prop" for my upcoming open mic night performance. I can DM a link to the video after I preform. I see transwomen as women, but I also think and expect we're going to eventually have a third gender similar to India, polynesia, pre-colonial America/Africa. Chivalry is definitely something I've never thought of; probably because I was raised male and taught to behave that way. Despite being kind of an ******* online, I try to be a rather polite person IRL.
