I agree. That is the difference between someone who cares and someone who doesn't give a damn about others. I bet the people who don't give a damn probably have less friends in real life.
Absolutely. I think we are on pretty much the same page here. It's just the deal with only extending an olive branch for something in return.
So you're going to have a female cop who doesn't like you that stays right behind you not very smart buddy.
hmmm, a woman carrying a clip-board on one hand and a small child at the other, takes the courage to approach and respectfully talk to me, explaining she's applying to be a cop who will be good for the community/neighborhood, and simply asks me to take less than a minute of my time to sign a form which verifies that she never had loud parties at her house.. why would I not at least read the form? am I missing something here?
I remember when I moved into my 1st house, the movers had just left and I was unloading the last few things from the car. Up walks a lady, probably late 50s. She introduced herself and asked if she could come over the next day and bring us a home cooked lunch. Looking back, she is lucky I didn't knock her the **** out for stepping into my yard. ****ing b****.
Why didn't he go and introduce himself before then? Not only is he oblivious to his neighbor moving in, now he refuses a simple request (a request that only a few people can technically fulfill) and comes up with a "I have the right to say no" line? It kind cements the notion that he's....you know Honestly, I don't really consider this burning a bridge or anything. I think a simple greeting and an offer to sign it again would suffice.
Put up a fence! For real, I am nice to my neighbors. If you're friends with your neighbors they will look out for you and your house! One of my neighbors is a black (race doesn't even matter) cop and i'm very happy about that
I still don't understand how seeing a black woman with a small child sends a person into an adrenaline rushed rage. smh
If I'm understanding this correctly, the rush came when he realized someone was behind him. When he realized who it was, he started to come out of it.
