that year cle made it to the finals was a fluke when everyone from the east was injured and lebron carried that team on his back until he got swept by san antonio.

If that Jordan guy was so great, why did it take him 7 years to win a ring? If Hakeem was so great, why did it take him 10 years to win a ring?

Oh, and no, the Cavs didn't really have a good supporting cast. Shaq and Jamison are over the hill and Mo Williams disappears in the playoffs.

Some fans are very interesting! They don't want James because he never won a ring. They want Bosh, although Bosh has never passed the 1st round.

I can agree with part of what you are saying. If that guy came here it would be only about him and the Rockets would take a back seat to everything that guy did and I would hate that. I'd rather get Bosh and JJ because I also don't care all that much for Lebron but I can't go as far as saying that I wouldn't welcome him to the team and be glad that we got him if we couldn't get those two.

ok to everyone. i'm not sayin he sucks, cause he doesnt. he is the most gifted player in the nba as of today. BUT, when have you seen the determination that you saw in jordan, kobe, hakeem. when i see lebron i see a man who doesnt care about rings. he cares about fame and money. i mean look at jordan, hakeem, wilt, russell, bryant, duncan...they all won with the same team. because they know it takes time to build around. i know lebron started with crap in clevland, but it has built up. he isnt loyal, he left it all for the money. if he really wanted to win rings, he would sign with the team that he thinks will get him a ring, not new york or miami that have uncertainty ahead of them.

when have you heard people talk about the lebrons love for the game, and his heart. when people think great players they dont think money, they think love for the game.

Have you watched him play more than a few times? That's what makes James great, he's a very good passer. He's not kobe, he's not wade. Even he says he never tried to model his game after an MJ, but instead a Magic. You dont bring him in to take shots, you bring him in to make the game easier for everyone by getting out on thebreak and making good passes in the halfcourt, along with his rebounding. Of course he'd still get his offensively, but he shouldnt be the go to guy or scorer only, or mainly.

Good point. If having a ring is the main criteria, then who's out there? You can't get Lebron, Bosh, Amare, Joe Johnson, or Boozer. There's been trade talk around Chris Paul but he hasn't won either. Would you take Kevin Durant, Brandon Roy, Carmelo Anthony, or Deron Williams if they were available? They haven't won any rings yet. The only marquee free agent with a ring is Wade and he's not coming here.

I think Adam Morrison is on the market though.

You really don't want to take that road. Actually, there are no roads here. This "argument" is completely ludicrous. I really don't want to put you out there anymore than you already are. I do not enjoy picking on the newbie minds of the GARM, but seriously. Stop.

Just say that you were drunk or smoking pot while you were writing this masterpiece.

Sorry for adding another post, I missed this the first time.

There are about a billion people in the world who like the Rockets simply because they have Yao Ming. Should we get rid of Yao just so that these leaches will fall off the bandwagon?

The point is getting James would not be necessary. Having him would be great, but we don't need him to win.

I'm as big as a Lebron hater as it can get, but only an idiot would not realize the worth he is to a team.
