Flashier dunks doesn't not make him more beastly. Amare works best with a pg, not with a big dominant center down low.

How about we resign Scola and roll witht he team we have. I think with the improvements each player gain from last year and Yao back we are a threat next year for the title next year as long as we are going into the playoffs healthy. I don't like giving up players to get Bosh or Amare.

You guys can bash Amare but we are at home and he is in the WCF.

Id take him in a heartbeat.

Have you seen the knee brace you wear? That thing prob. weighs as much as you do.

Is it just me, or does Carl Landry have almost the exact same type of game as Stoudemire? Both, when they get the ball can face up and shoot a jumpshot over their defender, or just blow by them and make an exciting finish at the rim. I think Stoudemire is just a longer version of Landry. Wow, if Landry had only been a little taller or have had a longer wingspan we would've already had our own Stoudemire.

WTF does that have to do with anything and how we think of potential players on this team.

Do you really think that Amare would have been on the trading block, if he was as valuable as you think he is?

A max contract is too much for a one-way playing imho.

But if it was a less than max contract, sure sign me up.

That being said, I seriously doubt Amar'e or Bosh will be in a Rockets uniform next season.

So he is better than Lebron, Wade, Duncan, etc. just because he is playing and the rest are eliminated?

I'd rather have a player who hasn't had major surgery and wears a big brace, than someone who's knee is ticking time bomb.

Um do you think that a team with a superstar who becomes an unrestricted free agent after the current season wouldn't explore all trading scenarios available?

lol...amare is not going to fit in with the rox. he needs room to operate, especially in pick and roll situations, not going to happen with yao on the block.

also like someone else have stated...did you see game 1 and 2? the guy was hopeless on defense. As many have said on this bbs, we need a pf who is physical and plays defense next to yao. If we only after offense, why not take Dirk. More playoff success and much better score. Operate with yao better too.

IMO we need the defence more than offense. We got martin, brookes, yao to do most of the scoring load. We need a reliable mid range shooter who is able to play defence at the pf. Not amare. Nothing against him, just don't fit our team thats all. Off course, I don't feel bosh is the way either.

It means he is good enough to be the second option on a WCF team.

I swear to god, you fans are so f'ing picky. If its not the best player in the NBA then its not good enough to be on the Rockets.

Boo hoo, Bosh cant make it to the playoffs, Wade is injury prone, Lebrons a quitter, Kobe is a rapist, Howard has no offense.

    Get over yourselves already.

    Amen, brother!

I would rep you if I could!

People need to stop being so damn picky about these star players. We have no room to talk.

Don't you know man, the core of this team is a championship caliber team. We just need to stand pat and hope Yao can play a full season...that's all.
