Im not sold on bosh but the positives outweigh any negatives on getting bosh. Does he have some flaws? Yes. Im not sold on him but wouldn't you rather have him that not have him. Hes a great player.

I'm kind of indifferent, if we get Bosh, especially if we end up winning the West or an NBA Title (or coming close). While getting him at a small price.

If we get Bosh and have to give up 3-5 rotational players (Brooks, Scola, Hayes, Battier, Martin, and maybe Ariza) with draft picks, I might scratch me head a bit and be skeptical, if we are left with a skeleton roster exposed at the weak bench. Because, if Toronto is somewhat competently functioning, I would ask for the most pieces that I could get from a team. Especially, hear that there are a few other teams who are possibly putting some pretty quality on the block.

If we do not get Bosh at all, and he goes to another team, especially East, or to Western team that has their roster gutted for him. I probably won't care too much. We could use him more than what we need from him. The Scola/Hill/Hayes/Jeffries caveat is a formidable row of power forwards. Sure, he is better than everyone in that group, but is he the kind of player that makes you forget about that kind of depth. I am struggle to answer that question, like alot of other posters do, which raises a big question about him. If it were a younger version of Garnett, Chris Webber (Bullets), or even Rasheed Wallace, I think alot of posters would rally more for the deal.

He's a good player, but I do not think he is worth throwing a max deal to it, unless your franchise is really hemorrhaging or just needs fairly bigger name to sale tickets. He's still a fairly young guy with some potential; he should go to a team, like New York (Knicks-Nets), where he can have his own identity (if he wants to be the main man) and be on a pretty team competitive. Brooklyn is going to end up with a really good player from this draft, and have Lopez, Yi, and Harris. That team can at least managed 41 wins and make the playoffs in the East.

The only way I see us winning or going deep in the playoffs with Bosh is if Yao Ming healthy or Aaron Brooks is in a favorable matchup (Trailblazers and Lakers). He simply does not effect the game in the same way, like other power forwards do.

It's a move, where you can ask yourself, well is even going to be enough to get past the 1st Round of Playoffs. Can we past a team, like the Spurs, Suns, or Mavs with Bosh, but no Battier, no Scola, no Chase, no Hill or Hayes, and possibly no Brooks or Lowry. It seems like it would be sort of horizontal move. Because, question won't be as simply is Bosh better than Scola, of course he is. But is Bosh better than Scola, Brooks (or Lowry), Hill (or Jeffries), Ariza (or Battier), and possibly Chase with a draft pick. How much is Toronto asking for, as they are going to want some quality pieces in return for Bosh.

Our team needs more additions and very few subtraction to really get to that next level.

That's too much salary back. I can guarantee you that Toronto won't take that much salary back.

Scola is a free agent. We have no contract with him.

i am willing to go to war with what we got & wait& see. D.M.'S. $$ball will keep us strong i don't have a problem paying bosch but he is the #1 on a lot of people's list and a bidding war hurts the winner the most if you invest a lot of cash in bosch &he has a season ender your season is in jeopardy &if you make small calculated moves&get the right role players you are better off $ wise & you will not paint yourself into a corner at the dead line

    Not Bosh, but Amare

Bosh has close to zero playoff experience and hasn't shown he can will a team to victory. He's a better defender but Amare's defense could benefit greatly by playing next to Yao. Amare is much more of a beast on the block. He can take over a game in a way that Bosh can't..with pure physicality and attackin the basket. Give me Amare, not Bosh.

Plzzzz...no Amare please. Like i said before....his game depends on Nash more than anything. Just because he have a great game tonight...doesn't mean he's going to be awesome. One thing I don't like about him is he lacks height and size.

To all those people who say " Just say no to Amare", Oh be quiet!

He is a multiple time all-star, and we should be glad that he is even available! Players like Amare don't grow on trees!

Bosh or Amare, I don't care, just get me one of those in a Rockets uniform and I will be happy!

and what has bosh ever done that has garnered all the love from members of this board? has he ever done anything, its ridiculous how people on this sit will beg for chris bosh who plays less games per year if u take out amares knee surgery year but say amare is injury prone, he missed one season about 6 years ago, and last year he had a freak eye incident other then that he seems healthy to me.

someone said oh he had a good game tonight what about games 1 and 2? are you kidding me? he is going against the lakers, who have numerous bodies to throw at him. its the western conference finals, he is arguably the suns best player he has proven he can bring it in the playoffs. anyways id welcome amare the guy is a scoring machine has a mid range game and a post game dwight howard would die for. with yao could he be redundant? possibly...but no one says what will happen with yao ming, amare is a legit center, and id rather have him man the 5 next year if yao is not ready to go than a thin soft bosh.

on that note i doubt we get either
