The MOST qualified and Most able to do the job guy DOES NOT WANT THE JOB because HIS FRIEND NEEDS THE MONEY MORE The thing about extraordinary acts of kindness . . . . .people don't beleive them. Your boss is trying to figure out WHY you *REALL* don't want the job even if he beleives you . . when the next position comes available maybe you have another friend or something One Question: While you position is Secure . . what is your friend's position like? Do you think he ready to accept MORE responsibility at work as well? Will the increase allow him to quite the second job?
