Thanks. Ok, Britney had the moves of a soccer mom w/ a hernia. The suite format seem odd, I assume it might suck a lot of energy out from the main room. I don't know how you guys sat through this thing. The only thing worth seeing besides the Britney wreck is seeing Pam's ex's throwing down.
Britney's new song actually makes more sense if you insert the word "Cheetos" after every time she says "gimme".
umm. wow, Britney didn't look like she gave a damn at the show, just did it just to be there, she looked like a lost person doing a pop show in high school, hell even the cast of High School Musical looked better than that
Am I the only one that didn't really see much wrong with the performance? I mean yeah it sucked and she's definitely not as attractive as she used to be, but with the way its being portrayed, I expected to see some major embarrassing mistake.
Yeah - she showed absolutely no enthusiasm whatsoever. I don't mind a chick putting on weight. But for her to be in that weight range a gyrate around onstage in her underwear... that just looked pathetic.
I didn't even know that it aired already. I guess I am getting old- 24! I haven't watched one in years. Looks like Britney isn't getting her comeback.
Actually I think her body is a hell of a lot more attractive than before. Shes thick, just the way I like it. She had a teenagers body before.
Does anybody else remember when a "Live" performance meant you actually sang songs instead of lip syncing them? Anybody remember the Milli Vanilli scandal? And before that when New Kids on the Block got caught lip syncing on stage? People were surprised, shocked, and pissed when that stuff happened. I was hoping the Ashlee Simpson SNL debacle would spur on the public outcry against what has now become common practice. Guess not. I saw last night that it's even spread to the black hip hop/r&B artists. What are you going to do tonight? Oh, I'm just going to see some wannabe diva dance around without moving her mouth all night. Cool. Sounds like fun.
Yeah, you didn't see THAT much wrong with it. After a best four out of seven coin flip, I have decided that... YES, I would STILL hit it!!
Haha. For some reason I just thought of the scene from This is Spinal Tap. Marty: Let's talk about your reviews a little bit...regarding 'Intravenus de Milo': "This tasteless cover is a good indication of the lack of musical invention within. The musical growth rate of this band cannot even be charted. They are treading water in a sea of r****ded sexuality and bad poetry." Nigel: That's, that's nit picking, isn't it?
Marty: The review for "Shark Sandwich" was merely a two word review which simply read... "Sh*t Sandwich". Nigel: You can't print that!
I haven't watched an awards show of any type in several years, but I always hear about them the next day on radio, TV, or in a forum like this. EVERY single station thats mentioned the VMAs are absolutely trashing it. Young and old people alike. Heard they kept switching camera views from place to place and it was too hectic and difficult to keep up with or something? The consensus opinon is that "They failed badly at it, but at least you can credit MTV for trying something new, even if it didnt work" Britney...being that I never cared for her music and career anyways, its just about if she is hittable. And...YEAH I would happily & hittably put something on current Britney
It used to be three hours, and had a few more awards. Now it's two hours, and a few awards. I can honestly say I have never seen any of the videos that were nominated. The only time I see videos on is early in the morning like 7 or 8 am.
