Alternate Jersey Unveiling Thread (UPDATE: Design of jersey, shorts)

I like clean designs personally....
Here is my photoshop'd jersey if i was in charge of design lol =)

 

Change the font and drop the gradient and that would look tight. The words make it look like an arena football team or something.

 

The gradients are natural shadows from the folds of the shirt. thought it look more realistic =)

What you think about good old Arial font

 

I don't like the new jerseys. Looks flat out ugly! I was hoping to see some black schemes with gray and red.

 

What does it take to get a new jersey? Does the team have to endure a horrible season? Who makes the decision, when was the last time the fans influenced new jerseys?

Our power ranger jersey's are crap!

 

agreed. seems like with all this change, now would be the perfect time for new ones.

 

Considering that we changed jerseys coming off a championship year, I don't think a horrible season is a requirement.

Personally, I'd be happy if they made the current red & yellow alternate jersey our standard road jersey, and then added a white version based on the alternate.

I bumped this thread because we unveiled a jersey and I wanted to know how this decision is made.

I like the idea of a white version of the alternate. I felt like we only wore these jersey's three or four times the entire season after the lockout.

You want new jerseys? It's very simple. Just make sure nobody buys any. That's it. If Les thinks he can sell more jerseys with a new design, he'll change it. I know many on here can't fathom the idea that Les can't see that he'll make more money with a different design, but apparently enough people buy the current unis where he doesn't see it worth changing. We ditched the Ketchup and Mustard that everybody wants to return to because back then, nobody was buying Rockets gear. The Rockets had just won 2 championships and were still way down on the list of team merchandise sales. It's all about money. So if you want new jerseys, you just have to make sure nobody buys Rockets gear with the current logo on it. Les will get the message.

I NEVER see Rockets jerseys. Who the hell is buying them? If anything, all you see now is the yellow and mustard logo from the 90's.
