True, and it looks better than how it ended up. I wonder if one were to see the design process sketch by sketch, whether it got uglier and uglier with each and every tweak. It may have even looked good at one point.

 

is it possible to still have dave cebrero's jersey?

i bought this rocket's shadow jersey awhile ago and i dont think the rockets ever wore them. maybe they can do the same with the other.

I was really hoping Morey was Clutchfans surfing and he saw the Black and Red Photoshopped edition that was posted at the beginning of this thread..My favorite though was the old jerseys photoshopped black. Anyone still have that pic?

noone outside of Houston and China is going to wear these. then again China's sales will probably be the most important.

 

id also like to see the white version of this jersey brought out eventually along with our throwbacks. i wish we would keep it as fresh as the cavs do. these look better the more i look at them. i knew we wouldnt get black. these are pretty good. i just like to keep it fresh.

 

I like the design. I just wish like everyone says they would have inverted the yellow colors with the white colors and the jersey looks nice.

 

the more i look, the less yellow i want. they would have been fine to leave both the number and the letters white w/ yello trim. little too much yellow. thats my only complaint.

I wish everybody would stop crying about a black one. It was stated numerous times that the NBA wouldn't approve anymore black uniforms. The Rockets even confirmed today that they wanted a black uniform, but the league would not approve it!!!!

 

They never wore them because they were just a special design just for sale. The league said no more black uniforms. The Rockets even admitted today that they wanted a black one, but he league said "NO!"

 

nope, these were just alternate jersey Reebok/Adidas came out with, jerseys they never wore, just different variations to sell more jerseys, trust me, I bought almost all of them, all white one, black on white, white on black jerseys, they came out 2-3 seasons ago, and were discontinued, they came out with an UGLY red/yellow on black 2 years ago, but never caught on

 

I hate the slant of 'Houston'.

It's alright, for an alternate. It's grown on me a bit in the past few hours, but if I had to see these things on a consistent basis, I dunno what I'd do with myself.

 

Initial reaction was too much yellow but the more I look at them the more I like them. Everyone keeps saying Championship years jerseys but it has a mix of three uniforms.

The uni's suck, but let me add.When les changed to the blue and pinstripes, he said it was because people don't buy the colors we had. I didn't mind the colors of the pj, just the design. They couldve been dominant red with blue and a claasic front and it wouldve been better than these.

 

well i think that was before throwbacks became so popular, what was it, 95-96? I wouldnt mind blue and red though....

If you look at scola/shane and cover the number and "houston", it looks tons better. They need to make the font more classic...

And i still think these were designed to be a snug fit, but players wear them loose and it screws up the design...

 

RV6, have u ever played ball in a tight shirt? Players need to breathe or have some space. Not only that, the houston is at a angle also. A jersey designed to be tight and the colors mixed in just really sux.

All thats need to be done is reverse the white and yellow, have WHITE letters with yellow border/trim, and its SOLID.

If they had a white version of the third jersey, keep the white version with yellow lettering. You could even pinstripe the white version

If you wanted blue in there as a third color or dominant color, you just, put.....blue in? With what you got? Why's this stuff have to get all complicated and off track? lol. Goodness, man...
