I agree. It just gets ridiculous seeing 5 different variations of them on the same page...and I ususally don;t click on them either.
Unless there are young college co-eds topless rubbing on each other, I find it very hard to belive its a fav video...
Yea, those too. But anyway, I have never in the close to 4 years of being here have seen FIVE "What's in Your CD Player Thread" on the front page at the same time. There might have been threads on individual artists or bands or the various tourneys, but your statement earlier is gross hyperbole. And I mentioned this in droxford's complaining thread about it, that the latest "What's in Your CD Player Thread" could be a sticky and people could just add to it instead of doing a new one every so few weeks. And it was on its way of achieving that, as most people that were posting in it were catching on to just add to it. But like RM95 mentioned, one person here took it upon himself to wreck that thread. But I am still mystified why it is such a problem for people to see a thread that they know they are not going to post in? It is almost like y'all want to LIKE every thread here. That isn't going to happen - get over it.
I really couldn't care less about what happened in the thread that got wrecked. I wasn't there by my own choice. If someone doesn't like what someone has to say, tough. That's why ignore lists were created...on the same note as was stated earlier, it's almost like you all want to like every post made here. That isn't going to happen - get over it.
You're a teacher right? Not setting a great example by plagiarising.... Dude - if you think I read every post here, I feel sorry for you. And what you said is true but at the same time I am going to call people on ridiculous statements such as "five different variations" of the same thread on the same page.
LOL!!! Ramirez, Manny. "Already One of my fav music videos of all time." BBS Hangout 13 May 2005. (Ramirez) Please return the favor as I do recall something I wrote showing up with a remark about "divorce" in it. BTW, if you are nitpicking about that "five different variations" statement, I'm the one that should be feeling sorry for you.
Last time I checked I am not a teacher. Let me check again...nope, still not a teacher. And I don't owe you any favors, pal. It is hardly "nitpicking" when you are pointing out gross exaggerations - sorta like all American cars are POS. Now, see Falcons Talon, that is another example of a gross exaggeration.
Thanks Manny...I hadn't laughed so hard in a while...way to much energy spent on this... btw, nice try to get me going with the American car reference...it's just a BBS...jeez, lighten up Francis. LOL!
I do what I can. Actually not much energy used at all - just waiting for quitting time. Oh and just because I like to do this (but only to certain posters), it really is "too" and not "to"....k? Thx.
Just another reminder...that thread was the only one created in the last 6 weeks. We actually kept contributing to that one rather than making a bunch of different threads. You have to differentiate between specific threads about bands and the "What're you listening to" type threads.
