So Sengun is taller than AD but AD's wingspan is longer? So, if that is the case, that would make them about equal on length, according to your calculations. AD arms are about 1 - 2 inches longer and Sengun is 1 - 2 inches taller. So why is AD constantly scoring over Sengun?
I keep saying cameras and angles are deceptive. AD is taller and longer, this is why he is able to consistently score on top of Sengun.
Why is Alp constantly scoring over AD? They’re good players. It’s hard to keep them down. This is a nonsense type question
You conflate so many different things to try and prove your point but it makes you look a little ignorant. Alp is clearly taller than AD, AD has a 7’6 wingspan. Both things can be true. AD is a top 10 player in the league. He scores on everyone, but no one is stopping Alp either
AD was like 2/9 against him. Sengun was terrific guarding him in the 1st half then Jalen started turning the ball over and momentum shifted to their side.
Yes, AD slightly got the better of their matchup, but he is a guy with a lot of experience, 8 x All-Star who won an NBA title...and he had a guy called Lebron playing with him, too. But it's not like Alpi got totally destroyed by him. That matchup wasn't why we lost. Now, if you were to look at Jalen's stats...
No, its not why we lost to the Fakers but the fact that the Fakers see it as a mismatch, that is what concerns me. We know we don't have anyone with size to match LeBron and Im not really concerned about him, because he can't shot. Its the interior, the paint, that concerns me the most. And like I keep saying, if you lose the paint, more than likely, you lose the game....its Basketball 101 since the beginning of Naismith. That is why I keep saying we need more size!! Either put a bigger center next to Jabari or a bigger PF next to Sengun. But either way right now, we are just too small
There is nothing wrong getting a bigger/taller player for those positions. It would definitely help the team! Jabari is what? 220 lbs? Sengun 240? Each needs to put 20 lbs muscle to their frames to play better and not bullied under the rim....not much Alpi, though! Jabari is getting bullied more under the rim
Why is that you understand but 50% - 60% on this form does not? Like I said however, every matchup Sengun has had against a bigger player he has lost....PERIOD! The only one I can recall he has won is Valanciuas. Jabari, I just don't see him putting on the added weight to develop as a 4/5. I think he is more of a 3/4, similar to Brandon Ingram, Robert Horry type. If we can't get a bigger center, it might benefit us to put Jabari at the SF, get another 6'10 PF and have; 6'10 Sengun at center, 6'10 PF and 6'11 Jabari at SF. But either way we need more size along the frontline.

The Sengun love affair is so reminiscent of the fanbases Omer asik and dmo love affair. What is this fanbases fascination with European bigs. I mean I understand Yao being celebrated he was our number 1 pick and was a multiple time allstar. But I’m not seeing anything generational about Sengun. At best he is a domantas Sabonis a player who has been traded multiple times already. Just recently harden played the kings and played Sabonis and his lack of defense off the court. If you guys think Sengun will be anywhere near jokic y’all are delusional. Jokic is a once in 20 yr type player. The next draft prospect that gets a jokic comp will be seen as a LeBron/wemby type of guy.
Every matchup? I will deserve my right to disagree with your conclusion. In order to make a comparison, I need to check the in-game numbers, seasonal averages, defensive schemes, years on team, years in experience, etc. But again it is your opinion. Now, we are not discussing Sengun's height, are we? ...oh wait, *****...yes we are. He is 6'11" okay? He said so!
Denver took off when they got Aaron Gordon. We all know Jokic is the man but when they got more SIZE and athleticism along their frontline.....thats when they changed
Go back and look at every player that is listed his height or taller. Thats been my only issue w/him People lie every day....6'10. Lol
