Not all People are dreamer. This is a rebuilding team and most players here probably won't be with the team in a few years, probably the coach as well, so trades are inevitable. Trading Sengun is fine, but you got to suggest who he trade for and how should we fill the starting center spot. Garuba and Brono are not starting materials, as the Heat game shows that even our best defensive center Bruno got destroyed by the Butler and his Co and the effectiveness of Garuba are hugely depended to the matchup. The reality is that, Rockets is paying the 16th pick center under $4m for a couple more season and he's giving you 16 and 9. You really need to make a very strong case to give up on him when we just finished a quarter of the season or this thread will look absurd. As this team is sitting at one of the worst records in the league, nobody is untouchable. That being said, without a strong case, you will be seeing people opening KPJ trades, Green trades, Smith trades after they have a bad game just to troll this thread. It will happen, as you see Alp is the best player thread is not very smart in my opinion, then someone opened a thread Garuba is the best player to troll that thread, which is pretty childish. I'm always amazed that Clutchfans has its own logic. Opposing guards always have career nights on us, then everyone focused on the centers and argued who should start at the center spot after the game. Shouldn't we discuss how to stop or at least do a better job defending those guards the next game or in the future? Tyler Herro had a field day on us, but we merely doubled team him for less than two minutes to force him giving up the ball. Even Tre Jones has a career night on us, we are talking about Tre Jones, and he is averaging less than 13 points per game and scored 26 on us, which is more than double to his average. Then here we are, discussing to trade the center or sign another center when those core issues kept untouched. The timing is just off.
If Sengun gets traded, he'll most likely have a career like Sabonis (who wasn't given enough chances in his first team and was an important player in the teams he played for later). I don't think he will be a franchise player as someone exaggerates but he definitely has All-Star potential and I believe he will do it. I doubt he will be traded during the season though. Even if he gets traded, it will probably be next summer at the earliest (if Wembenyama is drafted, it could be this summer as well).
Lakers could be good spot for him. You can make up for his defensive weakness by pulling Davis to 5. Dennis Schröder Lonnie Walker Lebron James Anthony Davis Alperen Sengun Looks solid.
he may not ever be a franchise player but not due to lack of talent or potential... what does the franchise player even means? john wall was a franchise player... alperen is better than him and its not even close...
Guys really 9 pages for this troll thread??!! Al P loves Houston and Houston Loves Al P! There is no reason to trade him away! The only one who must be traded is Silas! He is not a good Coach! He got a heavey talented team but cant form a Unit!
If it gets rid of the Sengun fans, it's worth it. It'll hurt the team, but it'll very much help purge the fanbase of a lot of garbage.
I want to build around Sengun/Smith/Green BUT Sengun/Christopher/Gordon(goes home)/Bucks pick For Turner (signs extension)/Duarte
lol who are these garbage sengun fans? i never seen a garbage sengun fan ...they are mostly rather decent people with above average knowledge of bb
That's just you admitting to not being able to see what is all around you. Perhaps your lack of awareness is true, but it doesn't meaningfully contribute to the conversation.
I hope it does not come to a trade. I think a coaching change will solve the problem. Next year there is no value in tanking so a real coach will be needed.
thanks for the input but all this sounds just like a mumbo jumbo...your inability to provide instances of sengun fans being garbage just makes us rockets fans look bad and prejudiced...making us look hostile to strangers, or muslims, if you want, just because they are from different culture... imho most of rockets fans just making a big fuss about basically nothing...and attributing their personal disagreement and dislike that bb fans usually have to so called only fanhood... i myself, on contrary, enjoy their presence and insights of these people, despite difference in opinions on a huge specter of topics, and would trade many of the 'true' rockets fans for SOFs...
