Especially Ego's fun level translated......despite John Wall never having fun......guys are having fun overstaying their welcome.
Below are our best four 4-man lineups by NetRTG among lineups who have played 300+ minutes together. There is a falloff after this, with the next best NetRTG at like 3. There is only one player in all four lineups.
Great point! I think 24/12 are good stats no doubt and I thought he played well but if you look at Sabonis, he has been having games like that all month. And he's a good player too, not great. I compare them favorably to one another; same build style of play, etc. I think both are GOOD players, not great. To me a great player has to be able to play on both sides of the ball OR be exceptional scorer; i.e Curry, Bird, etc. and I think both of us can agree that neither Sengun nor Sabonis compares to those players. Sengun did guard Ant Man last night but Ant was attacking him, going around him after he got past the first Rockets player. However, Sengun played with effort and that's what I like. It's hard to stop a player like that, even Jabari was having trouble early on. I must admit, I did like the lineup better with Jabari at the 5 with Tari, Amen, Brooks and Jalen. Ryan Hollins commented on that lineup as well. I look for Ime to have that lineup as his closing lineup in the playoffs or some variation.
I've always wondered why they like to show 3-man or 4-man (sometimes even 2-man) lineups? Why not 5-man lineups? Basketball is played by 5-man lineups.
Or 8-man lineups, including the got-damn referees (see also last night's game against the Wolves). Ba-da-bum TSH!!! (high hat)
ATW must be biting through his hand with desire to defend Senguns honor Senguns is flat out mediocre guys, and nobody here can prove me wrong.
I mean, you can sort by five men lineup. But only a couple have played enough minutes for meaningful analysis.
There are two 5-man lineups that have played more than 200 minutes this season. They are basically the starting lineups, one with Jabari, the other with Amen. The Amen lineup is 1.5 points better at OffRTG. The surprising thing is that the Jabari lineup is a whopping 14 points better at DefRTG. It can't mean that Amen is a much worse defender than Jabari.
Sengun is probably not going to be an All-Star again so Stone should really trade him while his value is high. He's just too limited and weaknesses will be highlighted in the playoffs. Get Ime a defensive center so the rest of the defense isn't compromised hiding him.
He’s not a star player. I don’t know what happened to his game. But if the suns want him in a Booker trade I would give him up, I would play hardball and pretend like he’s untouchable in negotiations tho
