İn Boston match, Sen Stats are stats, what does this have to do being a fan or not? BesidesNo one needs stats that Sengun is the rock this team is built on and all stats support this.
Possible - I didn't read all his tweets - he was quoting someone else - haven't read that other person's other tweets either. Just thought the stats were interesting.
I'm more into advanced stats and metrics than probably anyone else on this forum, but some of this stuff is just stupid. Towns 3rd when he's not a top 15 player, sabonis 5th when he's not top 25, sengun better on defense then wemby, josh hart (wtf???) better on offense than sengun, sabonis better on defense than jerrett allen? Like....come on
Haven't watched Sabonis much this season, but I wasn't really impressed with Jarrett Allen's defense against Alpi.
Its funny to see the biggest haters of players turn out to be die hard fans of their teammates smh. Like I'm sure Sengun, Jalen and Amen appreciate people who keep hate posting on their teammates.
Some bigs are better as post/on ball defenders, some are better as help guys. If you watch rudy even in his prime and watch only his one on one post defense you would think he’s meh, because that’s not his strength. Allen is more of a help/team guy in that mold.
I'm not even suggesting you sort this table by "Value Added" or "Estimated Wins Added" . https://insider.espn.com/nba/hollinger/statistics
Dude, I don’t hate Sengun nor am I a burner. I was on here last year too. I’m responding to the ridiculous pimping of him and Sengun himself seeing himself better than he is. You cherry pick stats to make it seem he’s as good as Giannis or more impactful than Wemby. Are you out of your mind? Wemby literally does everything he does with lesser teammates, plus has a decent 3-point shot, can shoot the midrange, and is a way more impactful defender. He alters shots left and right, can stay with the pick and roll guard then gets back to the roller, etc. We Turks sound ridiculous trying to convince people he’s generational. He’s a very good player, with limitations. I think he could be a great player if his shot improves, would open up a ton for him. It’s inaccurate and he has a slow release. 4 years in I’m doubting he has a knack for it (or maybe didn’t work hard enough trying to improve it). I want nothing more than for him to be who you guys think he is, but he needs some humility and to work his ass off to get there.
I know it is for the stat. Seeing him being quoted a lot and just a heads up if you care about it. last two tweets, all of last 5 are of the same flavor:
Meanwhile, Brook Lopez has 2 points (1-4 FG) and 0 rebounds at the half while Milwaukee is behind against Portland. Some people RRRREEAAALLLY wanted him, so they could dream of sending Alpi back to the bench.
Good defensive breakdown of the 4th quarter of the Celtics game. Sengun executed Ime's gameplan well.
