That's because Alpi is the ultimate team mate, always willing to give up his glory so his team mates can get some.
What are they saying about Sengun tonight? Dallas broadcast: "He has so many moves and coming into his own as a player." Rockets Broadcast: "He has changed the franchise." Dallas post game show podcast: "There haven't been many teams that have made Kyrie look mortal, helpless."
Love the "crying corner" . When opposing teams start to hate you while you are kicking their ass, you know you have become a star. Ignore Sardunyaya - this poster and Mitty are fantastic. Only those who dislike Sengun try to emphasize his very few fringe fans. Most of Sengun's Turkish supporters are very reasonable.
Vast majority of Rockerts fans love Sengun, flaws and all. It's only a handful who are so blind they can't "see" what everyone else does right, concentrating on hating a random twitter fan or two who are idiotic and make a mountain out of a molehill when everyone else is just a regular fan.
I will say (brag) that from the very beginning I thought he would become a decent, fundamentally sound, defensive player, albeit with some limiting physical attributes. It was obvious in those first rookie games that he knew what to do--he was just repeatedly left in no-man's land by idiot teammates and so he looked like a massive liability to those unschooled in post play (I put Silas in this group). Still, I never expected this type of game. Kudos to him for continuing to work on his defensive weaknesses and getting better every season.
I was sarcastically pointing out to ‘most Turkish fans being reasonable’ is mentioned as something that needs to be justified or approved by an American. So I wanted to let you know that, I also find most American fans reasonable . Unfortunately reasonable people talk less. I know atw did not mean bad btw.
I don’t like the embiid like foul theatrics of Sengun but interestingly he is not called many obvious fouls when he drives to the rim. The ones he gets by showing the foul gives him a bad reputation.
I agree with your sentiment. I guess to me Turkish or American doesn't make a difference. It's only Rockets fans and that's it. But 100%, unfortunately, we can see some of the most prolific posters are also some of the most biased ones as well and they like to stir the pot.
