All of the doubts people had about him were on full display today. Great experience for him though. Hopefully we get more data in April/May on whether he's a guy or the guy. So far? A guy.
If you wanna be the guy, you gotta impose your will on offense and take the game over. That’s the next step.
Wow there are some who are happy, that the Houston lost and that Alpi played under his opurtunitys! It was not a good game but i think this team has got a great future! Imajine that this team got a offensive Rebounding 19 to 4 and 16 Posessions more then the OKC. It was only the bad shooting today and the Freethrows. Alpi must start play the first half better. If he start to play the first half like the second, he will be an Allstar but if he start into the games like the last games that will be not enough this season. It must a mentally thing. He must work on it. I was watching Practice and Pre games of Alpi and we see, that he can hit high percentage Range shoots. He must also do that in the games. Dont forget, that this team is one of the jungest and they will develop everything. The Rockets will be in the next years one of the 5 Teams, who will contender for the Championship!
Absolutely there are people here who got excited after this Rockets loss, because they get to continue with their anti-Sengun agenda. Like posting screenshots of DRTGs for a single game, regardless of the fact that Alpi is top5 in the league in DRTG. Sadly, those people are not only Sengun haters, they also stopped being true Rockets fans, and became old bitter bald men.
Alpi defended well last night in my opinion but the first half Offense was very bad like everyone in the team except Amen and Tari a little bit. You can ´t except, that a 22 years old guy play every night like an All Star. I think the Team did everything but the ease was not there yesterday! Thats maybe the expirience to play games like this. They will learn it but allegedly Houston Fans, who are happy that this team lost yesterday can go to hell!
Ironically because they were as painful as watching the Rockets brick everything last night? Kidney stones are no joke - the most excruciating pain I've ever experienced, and unfortunately, I've had them twice now... Anyway, what the hell has happened to Alpis offense? Seems like he has permanently lost his touch around the rim, his footwork seems more clumsy and has been generally soft when trying to finish in the painted area. Last night that Doris chick kept giving credit to Hartenstein for his great defense, but it was really just a bunch of bunnies that Sengun would've made last year and is now bricking. I thought his defense was good and he played ok overall, but with our lack of shooters, he has to start making those shots for the Rockets to compete against the likes of the Thunder.
