Rockets defense this season is 3 pts/100 better with sengun on the court and the rockets defense is 9.5 pts/100 WORSE with jalen on the court this season. If you're interested in some numbers.

 

Actually Bruno got hurt so we never got a full look at him starting. Plus we were TRYING to lose so not a good example

 

Misleading. It would depend on who Sengun's on the court with. For example, if Sengun's spending more time with Amen & Tari, then it would appear Sengun's the reason the defense is good. But that could be Ime putting his best defenders on the court to mask Sengun's deficiencies

 

Neither of those guys start, and that wouldn't account for THAT big of a gap. Why does our defense tank when green is in the game though? Losing 10 pts /100 is an enormous drop off

 

I’m well aware he has been sick but his stats since his rookie year are about the same. You can’t fault that on being sick for 3-5 days.

 

He was traded and never got off the bench in ATL and is just bench fodder in Toronto. And we weren’t actively trying to lose; we just weren’t that good enough.

 

What does it tell you when one guy has 41 points but in overtime they decide he's not the guy and give it to Sengun who basically scored all our points? Jalen couldnt miss any shots cuz he kept throwing the ball away and dribbling out of bounds in second half,

you do realize Jalen's been benched way more than Sengun this year... Sengun being benched was more about his offense than defense. He was bumbling around and throwing the ball away. But it seems he's a second half player cuz what they realize is if they keep playing him he is inevitable.

 

The best thing to do with these kinds of trolls is to de-platform them. Just put them on ignore, don't respond, don't waste a minute of your time on them, because that's what they thrive on.

 

No sir lol. It was in fact more so his defense. Like last year he was getting picked on defensively by other teams every possession forcing Ime to play Jabari at the 5. Don't worry we'll see this again later this season

That last play in regulation with Alperen Isoing was absolutely NOT successful. It was pretty dreadful to watch actually.
