Interesting. I don't have the time right now to look this up, but can someone verify? If we see a trend of low end performances on the second night of a back to back, that would seem to lend weight to the conditioning theory I brought up in another thread (namely that Alpi just might not be a 30+ mpg type of player). That b2b comment didn't immediately jump out at me so I'd be curious to see the metrics.
~20% of the regular season about to be done. +30 pts - 0 games +25 pts - 4 games <20 pts - 10 games Not sure what happened but everything seems to be taken a hit: push shots, flamingos, drives, post ups, 3 pointers. He needs to score more and do it efficiently. Hope he’s going to break out of this. The west is a bloodbath. We’re gonna need it.
I mean the video shows you everything bro. Missed box outs, slow pick & roll covers, slow close outs on 3, turnovers where Lopez strips Sengun TWICE & blocks him. Watch the video again
Lmao. What rating are you referring too? So according to you, Sengun's a better rated defender than Amen & Tari. This might be the dumbest post in cluthfans history The LEAGUE knows about Stone idiot. The Rockets are 10-5 & coming off the biggest win differential under Udoka fool. Stone is the GM you degenerate
This is why video proof is needed with some of you. He scored over multiple times with Sengun guarding him smh
Look, I know numbers are hard for you. But there’s this thing called statistics, you should look them up. You might actually learn something. Everyone knows about Stone, but the only reason you are a fan is because you’re the only person that knew he was part black.
Personally I’m not saying he is. Defensive rating says he’s been more productive when on the court. But, I’m not trying to have an honest discussion with you because you aren’t capable of that. So take your little whiny ass on somewhere
I added him back because his takes were just too dang ridiculously funny to miss but he is getting annoying now. He comes to puff out his chest on the rare occasions Alpi has less than a stellar game and never says anything bad about his WAY overpaid boy no matter how crappy he plays most of the time. Back on ignore goes the chump.
He’s clearly either a troll or a weirdo. Clearly not right in the head in any case. Look at how he resorts to insults the moment he’s proven wrong. Just ignore him. Best to not give guys like him a platform. You wouldn’t engage a guy yelling gibberish nonsense in the streets, don’t engage them online either.
Yes cuz sengun is rotating on defense to help. Like you are suppose to do. Just stop your non stop sengun hating. He's by far better than your favorite player who's the worst player on our roster. Jalen supposed to be some great scorer and can't even get 1 free throw? Scores less points than shots he takes. Not good at all...
He's not rotating fast enough. You do realize they're putting him in pick & rolls purposely? Teams are picking on Sengun because he can't guard a scarecrow And you just said he WASN'T guarding Lopez. When the video clearly shows him guarding Lopez. How did you watch the game and not see this?
He wasnt even in the pick in rolls most of the first half when Lopez was scoring. Like literally the whole point of him guarding the non shooter. Stop with your non sense. how do you watch the games and think Jalen Green is good? When he's literally terrible at every aspect of basketball. He literally has no elite skill. Below average at basically everything.
If you knew the stat was misleading why mention it fool? Anybody can see Sengun's not even a good defender let alone anywhere near Tari or Amen. These stupid comments make my point about you even more
lol there aren't 20 players in the nba on the level of defenders of Tari and Amen. So thats not even a good comparison, one thing for sure is that he's way better than Jalen at defense. Just cuz he plays smart and understands where to be as a defender.
It isn’t misleading, it’s currently accurate. You just can’t understand it. Sengun is a good defender, has been for a while, you just don’t know what you’re looking at.
Sengun plays smart but he's getting benched by Ime. And this is coming from the idiot who said he wasn't guarding Lopez, who he clearly was. Lopez looked like a superstar against Sengun
Sengun and Green are both putting in a lot of effort on D. I think this has fatigued them a little bit, but I think they’ll hit their stride later in the season on offense. I like some of the ball movement and playing off Sengun that seems to be (slowly) developing.
