That's 6 good performances from Alpy. And 6 bad ones.

Concern level: 1.5/10. Higher than I'd prefer. He couldn't shake a cold yesterday.

He is probably back to 85% of what he was last year pre-injury.

Or there's more film on him. Noticed the ice pack around his lower back again during the game. Wish someone would ask Ime about that. He's not playing well enough right now. He embarrassed Sarr....but has gotten stuffed by Wemby, Chet, Zubac and Williams.

If there's anyone who still thinks +/- is a be all end all stat - this is the example as to why that's insane.

What's a recurring trend in these games?

Getting the ball frequently to the team's best player gets their confidence and rhythm up resulting in a higher likelihood of a better game. Freeze him out and get him token touches twice a quarter and rust sets in.

    Crazy, who'd have thunk it.

What's the film on him? Double him so he passes out to wide open teammates who toss up brick after brick after brick?

More film on him might make sense if he was constantly getting shut down and turning it over deep in the post without getting rid of the ball. Except that's not the case.

    Correct.
The only bad performances have been the 1st Spurs game where he was just loafing on both ends and the second spurs game where he left with foul trouble after his 9th pt in the 2nd qtr. Fouls 4 and 5 quickly followed. And the Thunder game.
    .
The Warriors, he was part of the comeback and shooting well. Probably gets 20+ If he plays at all. Finished with 14.
The next Spurs game. Shot very well, ends up with 16 pts, probaby 22 pts+ if it wasn't a blowout victory in the fourth.
    Mavs game, he was fantastic.
Yesterday, he was so good. Best Draymond impression.

The missed bunnies will even out.
    So 9/12

He had a bad shooting/finishing night last night.
But overall he was great everywhere else. Defense, facilitating.

I believe he had a bandage around his back and waist last year too.

And he is only allowing 43% on the shots contested. Crazy that there are 3 other Rockets allowing below that Amen/Brooks/ Eason.

It's time to stop forcing Alpi to play with Bari. Bari drags him down.

Alpi is +19 without Bari and only +3.5 with Bari.

Without Bari, Alpi's +/- would be similar to Dillon's and Tari's.

Bari is just flat out awful on offense in every aspect of the game and his defense isn’t making up for it. He’s a net negative every time he steps on the floor right now.

This guy posts good stuff on Twitter, give him a follow. Funny that he is a huge Sengun fan, would have thought that being from the Philippines, he might have a different player as his favourite.
