Maybe they're all per 36, as he doesn't lead OREB either, he's 3rd in OREB and 5th in REB. Still amazing but just wanted clarification.
Nah, he posts far too much nonsense like Jock is better than Alpi, Alpi will never be better than he is now... just utter BS meant only to irritate. "Richard" is perfect for him, considering he's such a dick: Thanks for doing your best to rob people of their fun, you twat.
I'm not really worried about Sengun at this point. He's looked a bit one dimensional offensively but is more likely a blip than a trend. If he needs time to sit for an injury then so be it, we got some depth.
A special special poster on this board incessantly repeated all off season about the awful Brooks and Green and how they are both hopeless have no trade value etc. Perhaps they should stop going around questioning everyone's intelligence and be a bit more humble. Dillon Brooks currently has the best (!!!!!!) on/off defensive stats amongst every player in the #NBA, per @cleantheglass. Get this, Houston allows 38.2 points less per 100 possessions when Brooks is on the court vs. off.
Yes, the percentage is great, as is the form. But in every game so far, he had at least 2-3 open shots where instead of shooting it he pump faked, and then the defender closes out and nothing happens.
I actually think we should sit him and let him recover. It's so stupid to play our youngsters through injury (even though we all know Alpi's competitive spirit is probably half the reason he's playing through it.) I've lost count of the number of ex-players with shortened primes/careers I've heard on podcasts saying they wish they hadn't forced themselves to play through injury. Alpi's one of the 2 most important players on the roster, I'd genuinely rather lose some games and let him heal fully than win more games and potentially shorten his career. Same would go for any other player, but especially Alpi and Jalen when they have injuries.
Has it been confirmed by the Rockets or Alpi's team that he even has an injury. I know that there has been Twitter detectives attempting to put two and two together from seeing that his back was wrapped, but lot's of players start post-game recovery on the sidelines. Hell we see players (KD comes to mind) with cold or warm packs on their knees during games. Does this mean they are playing through knee injuries. Not necessarily. I guess my point is I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere that he is playing through an injury (please share if it has). Could there be some lingering effects from last season's injury, sure. But let's not rush to make excuses for his play and I definitely don't want him sitting if it's just stiffness. Let him play through it and get whatever is going on with his game worked out. We are definitely going to need him back to his normal form if we plan to go to the play-offs or play-in for that matter.
