Jesus, somebody's having a bad day. As for my post, context matters. I wasn't saying Sheppard won't be a good NBA player, I was just pointing the fallacy of the guy who said "Adding one of the best shooters to ever come out of college seems like a smart idea." It's about more than shooting. Whether Sheppard has enough more to warrant a #3 pick is Stone's job to decide, not mine. Hope your day gets better. Seriously.
If sengun is the FP then we are good. If he continues to get better and Amen becomes the FP we are golden.
Amen would have to become the second option in the same way that D-Wade was the second option on those Heatles teams. Secondary ballhandler/initiator, amazing cutter, and all-around defensive menace. That's the path. To get to that level, his ballhandling might actually be more important than his shooting. Sengun will also need to be an outside shooting threat for it to work.
I think this is a very fair question. Most fans think Sengun's a star but what the coach and GM think about him is completely another thing.
"That's who he is" Udoka after Alperen drops 30 points with boards and dimes... Clutch time play calls by Udoka = Alperen Sengun in B2B games, with Lebron and Kawhi defending...
A Princeton, along with a variety of inversed actions, is incredibly modern. You need special bigs to do it. (Denver, GSW, and Sacramento) There is a reason David Adelman is in demand... You know what isn't modern? Pick-and-roll offenses with big rim running dummies at the 5. Be careful posting in here. Going to get smoked, Bub...
Yeah, dude made all that effort to go into a meme generator and thought he came up with something really smart. Cringe.
Yeah, I was going to say that reality is the opposite of what the meme said. Udoka is old school, not looking very much like a fan of modern innovations.
Check my join date/post count bub. Who said anything about pick and roll dummies? Point to the part of the meme that hurt your feelings.
Modern: any player that can read defenses, that can move with the ball, that can pass, that can put the ball on the floor. Old School: players that are cut for specific roles, one dimensional This is regardless of position.
He is super intent to see Alperen in the post in isolation, when I’d much rather see Alperen facilitate and hold the ball less. Easy way to get a guy like Jabari more shots. Move the ball, move off the ball.
