I actually agree w/Jackson on that. I keep saying, Alpi is Enis Canter or Sabonis at best. Same game, same body type, same everything! I keep saying, he is not Jokic. People love that comparison but its just not who he is and I think a team that see him everyday knows him best. That's why they veiw him as low as they do. But I know this news hurts Jackson, but especially Frank w/The Chop Shop. Frank is in LOVE with Sengun
So, is this the end of this thread?? Clearly the Rockets view Amen as their best player/franchise player.
I'd be more worried if they viewed Sengun as their best player/franchise player. This is the same front office that thought Nix was a lottery talent and the KPJ/Jalen duo would be the best backcourt duo in the league. LOL
It's sad that fans of different players turn on each other and pitch one player against another. It might not even be conscious. Some people might subconsciously feel that if I support your player, I am snubbing my guy. And the "love the player but hate his fans" copout is another thing that build up this divisive culture. If you really loved the player, you would certainly tolerate his obnoxious fans.
"What he’s been going through the last few weeks . He is going to go thru his entire career. Teams are scheming entire defenses for him" Udoka. Up to Sengun to find the counters. "He's game is so savvy. He will figure it out." TnT crew. You don't want to end up like Al Jefferson.
Just surround Alpi with some really good shooters. Our backcourt regularly goes like 4-20. Not gonna win like that.
Unrecorded dimes. DHO to Jabari. Ball ahead to Uncle Jeff. Hockey assisting well. Things look good. Wish we had Tari instead of DB right now. Give that man a break.
Alperen is putting so much pressure on OKC's defense right now. Special stuff from the 21-year-old. It's scary how much better he *could* be, too. Jabari looks fantastic tonight too. Love the maturity.
If you aren't satisfied with Alp and Jab here, I don't know what to tell you. The kindergartners are taking care of business. The effort and intention is there. Good stuff. Aside from that, the shooting is dreadful, and that is the difference in the game.
Shaq just called Alpi a young Pau Gasol and said he would like to see him on a better team with actual talent...like LA. Meanwhile, "the Rockets front office" doesn't value Sengun highly, according to Jackson Gatlin.
I think it's because he's getting doubled and needs to make adjustments and he's playing with bunch of role players who can't shoot like Amen, Brooks, Green etc.
