You would need 82 good games to not be fooled....so I doubt other teams are just looking at 5-6 games and be wow'ed.
Silas was able because of lack of quality personnel in Rockets Medai and lack of interest in Rockets fanbase.A proper media and fanbase would grill him. Not in Houston.
The credibility of Şengün critics would be much higher, if they would also comment here after the many good games he has, instead of only showing up after the few bad games he has.
Nah, it wouldn’t. The Sengun critics, I assume you mean the haters, are generally very low level. They are either plain incorrect claims or at best arguments that have ridiculous assumptions like he won’t progress at all etc. The reasonable criticism comes from sof or posters that are not haters.
One of my favorite additions to Sengun's post moves is the loud "Eyyyy" when he gets fouled. Small details. Ridiculous that the Non Embiid centers all go to line the amount of times when they get hacked just as much.
Man, all this 7th-grade drama/hyperbole/exaggeration gets tiresome after a while. Seriously, there's a GIGANTIC gap between "made an idiotic coaching decision" and "literally tried to ruin Alperen Sengun's career." Similarly, "not seeing the potential" is a far cry from purposely trying to torpedo someone's career. Silas wasn't intentionally sabotaging anyone's career, he was just in way over his head and was throwing sh!te at the wall to see what would stick. He was a shitty coach making shitty moves, but nobody at any point thought, "I'm going to do whatever it takes to keep this foreign kid down." Disclaimer: I love Alpi. I think he's already great and will only get better. But this constant need to find reasons why he's not already in the Hall of Fame borders on pop-star fandom. Some of you are the ClutchFans version of Swifties.
