I have 18 team, snake draft had Alperen in 4th round. I would say he fell to 4th. Considering it is all Turkish league, it tells a lot about our skepticism towards our own.
"Not many guys like this exist. Maybe three." That's how I feel when we play Luka, Trae and Haliburton
Alpi's L10 game stats: 26.4 PTS -- 9.4 RB -- 5.1 AST -- 1.8STL -- 0.5BLK -- 1.9 TO -- 2.9 PF -- 60.5% from the field -- 33.3% from 3 -- 85.0% from the free throw line Those are superstar numbers. Maybe just a hot streak, but could also just be who he is now--wouldn't be that crazy since he started the season learning a new system and role. If, and this is a big if, it is his true talent level moving forward, he's already a top 15 player and is the clearcut third best center in the league IMO.
Don’t let the homers fool you. Listen to the clutch fans podcast for unbiased real analysis on the weaknesses of Sengun and why we should trade Sengun for claxton.
Interesting. So right now, he has the 13th most votes in the West. If I am not mistaken, there are 5 starters and 7 reserves on each side. So if it were JUST the fan vote deciding, he would be very close to getting in - would just have to leapfrog one other player (or one other player would have to bow out due to injury etc.). (I understand that that's not how it works, but as @Clutch explained to us in the thread @Clutch started to ask Rockets fans to vote for Kyle Lowry to get to the all-star game, fan votes could have an impact on coaches' decisions about the reserves.) @Clutch - now that we know which one Rockets player is in the top 40 players in votes, can we all rally and ask for your help in using your social media reach to promote Alpi? I'm sure we can get Alpi to jump up a couple of spots in the fan vote! (By the way, I think FVV should at least be above Klay Thompson and Austin Reaves!)
