Alperen didn't really turn on the jets until it was too late. He still has a ton of room to develop. Most casual 31-9-6 you will ever see. Tough sledding for us when Fred goes 1-7 from three.
It's scary to imagine what our rebuild would've looked like if Sengun didn't turn into an all-star level player. We'd be Pistons 2.0
Sengun obviously IS this team's go to guy. Scores a lot in crunch time. Did it again today. 14 points in the 4th quarter, including Houston's 10 straight at one point.
My favorite comment I've read. Not being sarcastic. Alpi getting the Embiid treatment from the refs only no flopping.
Alpi was fantastic in the 4th and was a very reliable source of offense. Loved seeing him be fed and go off.
Wembanyama is averaging more free throw attempts in his rookie year than Sengun has in any season (including this season) in his entire career. What a ****ing idiot.
By the way, even if Sengun cools off a bit, the only players in history to average 20/7/7 while shooting .52+ from the field before their third season are Magic Johnson and Oscar Robinson. Look at this list, y'all. How could you not be excited?
I briefly tuned into Rocketswatch today...missed the start of the discussion and only caught 5 minutes...but the discussion was about Sengun's pick and roll defense, and that Udoka supposedly had to make adjustments because of it.
