Anyone else find this as brutal to watch as I did? Between Will distracting me with his Prince impression and Alpi’s rambling coupled with the phone freezing… I appreciate them getting the interview and some content out there, but I struggled to get through this…
I don’t think he mentioned KPJ or Green once. And his comments about the point guard position… wonder if he has beef or he’s just being open about the obvious. You’d think he’d throw in an obligatory, KPJ is a great player and teammate but his skill set is better suited as a 2/3 — or something to acknowledge his existence lol.

He did talk about Green quite a bit (because he was asked about him). As to KPJ, he wasn't asked about him...otherwise, I'm sure he would have said all the right things. But I have noticed that everyone seems to have been rather quiet about KPJ, and KPJ himself has also been in the background a bit. I saw him and Tate at a game in Vegas, but KPJ wasn't in the FVV/Green workouts and also not in the Dillon Brooks/Tari/Bari workout. Probably doesn't mean too much, neither was Alpi.
A lot to take from this interview. Alpy always says things without saying things lol. 1) Fred's been texting everyone and leadership at the PG position is something that's been sorely lacking. 2) "This coaching staff is way more serious. They want to win." 3) Really likes Amen and Cam. 4) He's seemed to be tighter with Jabari/Tari. Further reinforces that it's probably Jabari/Tari/Sengun and Jalen/KPj as far as "cliques" are concerned. Really liking this Sengun/Jabari/Tari/Amen core. They seem to be serious about winning. Even Tari's comment about "keeping your money right" was good to me. If Sengun is legit 6-11 then this is really exciting. Want to see him next to Chet.
Im hoping he's 6'11 or taller. The Rockets need a LEGITMATE center. He himself said he was 6'9 when he first came and if he grew since then, Im ALL good with that. ROFs are different....we root for the betterment of the TEAM

I don't think he has any problems with his teammates. The comment you made up about KPJ could backfire as 1- dissing KPJ's season and 2- coaching the coach. Risky. Sengun is used to the discipline of European coaches; I think he prefers a more rigid system with less liberty to players. I guess that's why he's excited about the arrival of a more conventional PG and why he didn't mention other teammates.

Lol is the nail polish making you question Green caring about winning? Dude is such obviously a hard worker. And you making comments about cliques is stupid. Sengun answered directly the questions asked. He was specifically asked about the summer league play so he talked about Baronand Tari. At the end he takes about Green because he was asked about Green. His English is still somewhat limited so he can't have detailed conversations in English yet but it was clear he was saying that thar he and Jalen basically grew together and knows each other really well and take care of each other off the court. So I don't know where you get these perceptions from. It seems very fanfictiony.
Hey it's nothing negative. Remember how you said Alpi could've said some stuff about KPJ - good player, wrong position etc? I was referring to that.
