Don't think it is gonna be a problem. We'll probably have these cuts as part of the system and everybody will be cutting.

Hahahaha as each day passes it gets funnier and funnier just how badly the organisation fumbled Alpi's first two years.

Will be putting so much money aside in order to draft him in our salary cap fantasy draft.

It is insane how smart this dude is already.

    As a foreigner.

And a big man. (the ones who take the longest to adjust to NBA basketball)

And he's this good already. Holy smokes.

A lot of people are going to be slicing into hearty crow this season when the last bastion of hope for the Sengun haters slowly dissipates with each game - the 'he's a horrible defender schtick'.

Not having the traffic cones standing at the top of the key (granted Jalen is still in the starting lineup, however he'll have players and a head coach on his ass now if he keeps playing that head honcho 'defense' on the perimeter) is alone going to remove an enormous amount of those plays the haters point to and say 'look at this bad defense!!!'

It is totally possible depending on

    - How well they play together with fvv(this should be a huge improvement from last year even in the worst case scenario)
    - How much his playmaking is used in offense (we'll probably see this within the first 10 games)
    - how much Sengun improves defensively and how much houston improves as a team on defense.

I have huge expectations for both Houston as a team and Sengun. I liked the off season moves. Maybe none of the moves are perfect, but it looks like the team has a plan and direction under Udoka. They prioritized getting the right type of player for development and for team ball in van vleet over other things. I see a team that has the potential to grow together. With the potentials of Sengun, Green, Bari and Tari this is more important than anything. The Brooks signing is the only question mark, but still he will bring defensive culture to the team, which we deeply lack. Lopez would have been great but it didn't happen.

Gotta say, the ball used for measurement looks a touch smaller than the reference in the pic.

It's not smart money at all. And i'm pretty sure Ime will not implement a structure that is going to favor Alp. If that would be the case, they wouldn't go for Brook at first place.

Too many other guys that you know will be more featured to bet on that but I think we'll find that simply putting him in better situations will do wonders for his game, especially defensively where he was completely hung out to dry.
